E EXPERIENCE IN TEAMS
Please tell us about your experience of working in teams and what you believe makes you a good
team player (max 100 words).

I worked in team for 15 years at Departement of Romanian Language and Literature at Faculty of Philosophy,
University of Novi Sad. A team is able to work well together through good communication and to have
common domains of interest. My interest is to exchange experiences on teaching methodologies between
Romanian language professors in Romania and Serbia and contact with lecturers that work in same area.
The aim is to show the linguistic and literary heritage of the Romanian minority/ community in Vojvodina/
Republic of Serbia and the influence of other minorities in the former Yugoslavia оn cultural heritage which
encouraged the development of intercultural communication between minority communities in Serbia.

F EXPERTISE IN THE PROPOSED PRIORITY AREA AND/OR PROJECT

Please describe your practical experience and professional expertise in the relevant area (max 100
words).

I live and work in a multicultural society, Vojvodina, where live 24 national communities. All my scientific papers
are based on the researches in the field of intercultural communication. A large number of primary and
secondary schools pupils in Vojvodina are speakers of two or more languages. Although being bilingual, they
know very little about culture of the others.

G TEAM MEMBER’S ROLES

As team member which role(s) (and relevant tasks) would you like to cover? ( You can choose
more than one.)

Website correspondent

Second language documentalist

Communications person

Please indicate the relevant experience and expertise you would bring to the proposed role(s)
(max 100 words).

Due to the fact the students live in a multicultural area, most of them are bilingual. I worked for 15 years with
bilingual students and I am aware of the problems they have in learning and speaking in Romanian literary
language. They all use the Banat dialect of Romanian Language and, also, Serbian language. I want to point
out the advantages and disadvantages of learning and teaching Romanian language and literature in Serbia.
