Identify the nouns correctly

II. Content:
Use Nouns ( e.g. people, animals ,places, things ,events ) in simple sentences
Identify the nouns correctly.

1. Greetings
A. Review previous lesson
Ask the following questions:
 What are the elements of a story?
 What are a character in a story?
 What is a setting of a story?
 What is a lesson of a story?
B. Establishing a purpose for the new lesson

Ask: “What do we answer if we are asked who are the characters of the story?”
Show a powerpoint presentation about nouns

C. Presenting examples/Instances of the new lesson


D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills # 1
E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills # 2
F. Developing mastery (leads to Formative Assessment 3)

Identify nouns used in the given sentences:


 Our teacher handed out the papers.
 The bus went down the wrong road.
 The dog chased the boys up a tree.
 My mom and dad helped me with my homework.

Circle 10 nouns and use the nouns to compelete the sentences below

Identify the nouns and encircle it.
