Kendari: On Thursday, a search and rescue team found three more victims from a
ship that sunk in the Banda Sea, who had been missing since the big storm occurred on
Friday night last week. They were Aris Triono, the captain of the cargo ship, Yakub, a crew
and Suharno, a passenger.
They were found on Thursday floating in water close to Menui island, Central
Sulawesi. The province is adjacent to South Sulawesi, within those territories lies the Banda
Sea. Two other victims were first saved by the SAR team in the Banda Sea on Saturday last
week, only a day after the ship sunk.
The SAR team is still looking for 10 crew member and a passenger still missing from
the incident, said Rocky Asikin, the head of Kendari SAR team.

One day I went to Surabaya with my friend for a vacation. We went there on a
night bus.
When we arrived in Lamongan, the bus stopped at a small restaurant for a rest. I
got of the bus to get a cup of ginger tea, and my friend drank some cold lemonade.
Then I went to the toilet. It took only a few minutes.
When I came out again, the bus was not there. It had gone! My friend was not
there too. Feeling shocked and confused I asked a waitress about the bus. She said
that the bus departed about five minutes ago.
I tried to call my friend on my cell-phone, but the battery was running low.
I couldn‟t do anything but hope and pray. After several minutes, my wish came
true. The bus came back! I got on the bus and walked to my seat.

What is thunder and lightening?
Lightening is a sudden, violent flash of electricity between a cloud and the ground,
and between cloud to cloud. A lightening flash, or bolt , can be several miles long. It is so
hot, with an average temperature of 34,000 centigrade, that the air around it suddenly
expands with aloud blast. This is the thunder we hear.
Lightening occurs in hot, wet storms. Moist air is driven up to a great height. It forms
a type of cloud called cumulonimbus. When the cloud rises height, it forms a type of cloud
rise high enough, the moisture freezes and ice crystals and snowflakes are formed. These
begin to fall, turning to rain on the way down. This rain meets moist air rising, and it is the
friction between them which produce static electricity. It discharges it as a lightning flash.

actually enjoy the media attention
They are unable to distinguish who are their genuine friends among the false ones.
Some people would like to befriend the celebrities because they also wanted to be in the
limelight too. Yet, when the celebrities are in trouble, these friends will leave them as fast as
they wanted to befriend them
Given this situation, I would prefer to live a normal life, going anywhere or do
anything, without being watched or scrutinized

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
First off all, I would like to thank the organization for giving me the opportunity to
say a few words at this seminar. In this occasion I‟d like to speak about abortion. Is abortion
one of the methods of birth control?
To begin with, let me say that abortion is one of the methods of birth control. Let‟s
see the fact about the population problem in a country. When a country faces the problem of
population explosion, the government should find method to solve it. But since no method of
contraception is one hundred percent effective and successful, abortion becomes the only way
out when prevention fails.
On the other hand, abortion may cause many negative effects for women‟s health.
Women risk their health and lives in bearing the weight of operation and its consequences.
The most common complication is inflammation, interruption of menstrual pattern, infertility,
endometriosis, myoma of the uterus and many other kinds of ovary illness.
So far, abortion becomes a dilemma for countries with large number of citizens. On
one hand, it can control the birth rate but on the other hand it brings terrible consequences
especially for the women‟s health.

The story to „Kung Fu Panda‟ is nothing really new, but it is told so well as to actually
pack an emotional punch. And it never comes off as laughable, which in lesser hands could
easily have happened. Speaking of laughs, there are many to be had here as well. „Kung Fu
Panda‟ works on just about every level a family movie can.

The cast features Jack Black as Po the Panda. The furious five, the most feared group
of warriors in all of China, consists of Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan),
Mantis (Seth Roger), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Crane (David Cross). Their master is Shifu
(Dustin Hoffman), a fur ball creature who is a legendary teacher of Kung Fu. Escaped from
prison and on high way to claim the Dragon Scroll, which will make him the all powerful
Dragon Warrior, is the good gone bad Tai Lung (Ian McShane). But first, he‟ll have to
muscle his way around 400 pounds of panda to get to it.
„Kung Fu Panda‟ is a damn good time at the movies. This was the movie that
Dreamworks Animation so desperately needed after the disappointing „Shrek The Third‟.
With gorgeous animation, spectacular action, a great cast and dramatic weight of an Akira
Kurosawa film, Kung Fu Panda is one of the favourite movie of the year.

The Incas used to be a large empire of 990,000 km2 in Peru of South America. Their city
was high up in the Andes Mountains. They were well-known from their great wealth,
especially gold. This great empire was unfortunately destroyed in an attack by the Spaniards
who were searching for their famed gold. Although this empire existed way back 1493, it was
not backward but complex and well-organized.
The empire was ruled by the Sapa Inca, Lord of the World, Son of the Sun. He owned
everything in the empire – the land, soil, gold and even the people. The people, therefore had
no freedom.
Boys and girls were to live a life of obedience and tradition. They began working in their
ayllu or family groups. The rule was Ama sua, ama Ilulla, ama Sheklla, which menas, “Do
not steal, do not lie, do not be lazy”
Despite this difficult way of life, the Incas were very skillful. They constructed drainage
system and underground water reservoirs. Their buildings were made from huge stones.
These were cut to fit perfectly together so that no mortar was needed. Their rope ridges were
so strong that even a horse could gallop across them!
The Incas had no written language. Information was recorded on knotted strings called
quipus. These were also as calculators. Strong and healthy young boys were chosen as
chasquis or couriers messages from one place to another.
