TEST OF ENGLISH FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
SUBJECT
Subject : English
Grade : X/ SHS
TIME
GENERAL INSTRUCTION
It was Saturday morning a week ago. My mother took me to her friend’s grand
opening shop. We brought a bucket of red roses for Aunt Tia. She was very happy to
receive her favorite flowers. Aunt Tia said the coffee shop was one of her dreams. She was
so happy to officially open the coffee shop.
There is stage for live music too, so the customers can enjoy the performance. Since
my mother told Aunt Tia that I can sing well, Aunt Tia asked me to sing a song in the stage.
I was shocked and embarrassed to sing in front of many people, but I sang anyway. The
customers and the guests clapped for me after my performance, and I was so happy. That
was a pleasant as well as a challenging experience for me.
