COLLABORATING DANCE WITH ARTISTS, TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, HEALTH

EDUCATORS, PHYSICAL EDUCATORS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS

I. SUMMARY OF ARTICLE

Dance can serve multiple purposes and can take the form of art, recreation,
competition, or entertainment. Collaborations can enhance and stimulate a
multidisciplinary product, enhance teaching, and forge research projects and publications.
Multidisciplinary choreographic performance approaches curating as a form of community
organizing to facilitate equity-driven cultural conversations that cross discipline,
geography, and perspective, which enhances dance appreciation and artistry. Dance and
choreographic alliances can be a podium for educators to form partnerships, teach, inspire,
and use new mediums, influence dance students and the public. Dance is a great way to
connect emotionally with an audience and other people and a form of art that is made by
purposefully recreating selected sequences of human motion, which can be imbued with
the values of aesthetic and symbolism that are acknowledged by both performers and
observers from within the particular culture.

II. ARGUMENT

Dance is the movement of the body in a rhythmic way, usually to music and within a
given space, for the purpose of expressing an idea or emotion, releasing energy or simply
taking delight in the movement itself. Dance is also a form of art because you are able to tell
a story without using your mouth. There are also disadvantage and advantages of dance.
Dance or dancing has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including: improved
condition of your lungs and heart, increase muscular strength, endurance and motor
fitness, weight management , and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Through dance, the
students or the people who danced they learn teamwork and focus. The disadvantages of
dance are your body is not that flexible because dance is a movement of the body. Risk of
injury like twisted ankles and it requires a lot of time to master the choreography.

III. REFLECTION

Dance is all about expressing your emotions by using your body, gaining strength in
our muscles and developing a balance not only for dance purposes but for our inner self.
Dance can serve multiple purposes and can assume many different forms. It can take the
form of art, recreation, competition, entertainment and etc. I learned that you can dance
even though you are not good in dancing you can still enjoy at the same time you can
exercise. I observed that dancing is a popular; dancing is just a wonderful way to have some
fun and forget all the problems, because one thing is for sure it can release the negative
thoughts in your mind.
