Abstract: Overview of the current status of musical analysis based on Harald Krebs’ metrical
dissonance theory. After, Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat is analyzed indicating the metrical
dissonant structures found in the work. This paper has the objective to contribute to the analysis of
metrical dissonances of a representative piece from the beginning of the 20th century, a subject
that has not yet been researched. It is shown the existence of metrically dissonant structures in that
work that we don’t find in other repertoires.

semínima e a colcheia (x/4 + x/8).
