Sub : Technical Education – 2019-2020 Admission to Second year B.E / B.Tech. Degree Courses –
Counselling for allotment of seats in Government, Annamalai University, Aided and Self
Financing Engineering Colleges Intimation of Counselling – reg.
Counselling session will be held for allotment of seats in Government, Annamalai University, Aided and
Self Financing Engineering Colleges for admission to Second Year B.E / B.Tech. Degree Courses for Diploma
holders and B. Sc. Degree holders under Lateral Entry Scheme for the academic year 2019-2020. The allotment of
college and branch will be made as per the rank order following communal reservation subject to availability of
seats during Counselling. Being a candidate, you are directed to attend the Counselling on the Date and Time
indicated below at your own cost with all Original Certificates. If you fail to attend the Counselling on the specified
Date and Time, you will have to forgo your allotment and cannot make a claim at a later date.
You are requested to be present in the campus ONE HOUR before.
Candidates more than the number of vacancies have been called for Counselling anticipating dropouts.
Mere attending the Counselling does not guarantee the allotment of seats. Hence, candidates pursuing any course in
Institutions are advised not to apply for Transfer certificate before getting the allotment orders.
No request for the change of College or Branch will be entertained once the allotment is confirmed during
Counselling. If there is any change in the details furnished below, you are requested to report before one hour.

 GUIDELINES FOR THE CANDIDATES ATTENDING COUNSELLING
Your are required to bring the following certificates, in original

 Tenth Mark Sheet

 Diploma Mark Sheets
 Diploma/Provisional/Degree Certificate
 Community Certificate (card form / copy of e-certificate)
 Transfer Certificate
 Conduct Certificate
 Nativity Certificate (If required)
 First Graduate Certificate (If applicable)
 Certificates pertaining to special reservation

 You should report for counselling 1 Hour before your counselling session due.
 Register your attendance and be seated in the counselling hall.
 Your certificates will be verified, after session ranking.
 Attend counselling as per rank.
 Once the College and Branch are selected and the seat confirmed, the allotment is completed and you can
collect the allotment order.
 There is no scope for change, once the seat is confirmed and allotted.
 Cell Phones are not permitted inside counselling hall.
 If there is any change in marks due to revaluation etc., report to the counselling centre before one
hour in the appropriate session.
 Candidates may attend counselling with one person (Parent/Guardian).
 Candidate should bring this letter.
