RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
In this work the operating conditions in the grinding of clinker in ball mill were
evaluated, varying: speed of the mill (24 and 72 RPM), residence time (3 and 5 hours)
and loading of grinding bodies (30 and 40%) ), by means of a factorial model.
The objective was to estimate the influence of these parameters on the mass percentage
of 45 microns which is a determining factor in the quality of commercial cement.
Bibliographic data on physicochemical properties, composition, mineralogical nature of
the material used were used.
The granulometric distribution was determined by means of a Granulometric Analysis
simulator
It was found that the amount of the 45 micron through mass increases with increasing
mill speed and in lesser proportion with increasing time, and that the change in charge
of grinding bodies is negligible.
