For our subsidiary BAUER Foundations Canada Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, we are looking for an analytically
skilled

(Senior) Estimator (m/f/x)

(Reference Number 3019)

Your tasks

Respond to requests for proposals received from clients and interface with them under the direction of
the Tendering Manager
Generate project/business opportunities and Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) through customer contact
Negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues to a variety of audiences
Identify and evaluate new markets through direct prospecting, web researching and networking.
Update client database/portals
Attend and participate with various industry, professional groups and networking associations

Your profile
Degree in Civil Engineering with 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in ground engineering/special
foundations, proficient with Bauer techniques. Experience or qualifications in cost estimating is
beneficial
Experience in tenders / proposals with a record of successful results
Site experience of ground engineering techniques is desirable
Strong team working abilities
Ability to work under tight deadlines with good prioritization / time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, good knowledge of French is a benefit
