To validate our idea, we conducted 11 interviews with small to medium business owners about their current marketing experience.
“People are trying to pull their eyeballs away from social media, and this could be a useful tool to complement digital advertising.”
• Marketing managers want to keep-to-date on the latest technology, and small business owners are confused about marketing strategies.
• Small business owners want someone to handle all their marketing needs but usually cannot afford it.
• They want a better way to measure the success of their marketing campaigns. Small business owners are often skeptical about the results.
• Medium business owners and marketing managers launch several campaigns a year, and they want a more effective way to find multi-
channel advertising.
