Subject Title: PEH 10


Subject Description:
Physical Education: contributes to the development of fitness, health and wellness among school-age students as provided in the program’s rich
and challenging physical activity experiences. It shall promote the development of a participative and active body; learning to use the
body in moving efficiently and effectively in a given space, time, effort and assurance of quality movement.
Health: Focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, social, moral and spiritual dimensions of holistic health and enables the learners to acquire
essential knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to promote good attitudes towards the previous and current events worldwide and
also to give information on how to prevent and control diseases and substance misuse and abuse, reduce health-related risk behaviors
to prevent and control injuries with the end in view of maintaining and improving personal, family, community, and environmental
and health.

Class Policies

A. Attendance
Students are not allowed to have 20% or more absences of the total class hours otherwise; they will be graded as follows:

 Dropped (if majority of the excessive absences are an excuse)


 Failed (if majority of the excessive absences are an excuse.

B. Decorum
Students are required to:
 wear their identification cards an observe proper dress code at all times;
 turn off or put in silent mode their cellular phones during class hours;
 maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the room at all times and
 come to class on time.

B. Examination Evaluation
 Quizzes may be announced or unannounced
 Long examinations are always announced
 Cheating is strictly prohibited. As student who is caught cheating will be given score of zero for first offense. For the second offense
he/she will automatically fail the subject.
 Examination permits are required during midterm and final examinations.
 Student who missed exams laboratory exercises of quizzes may only excuse for any of the following reasons:
 participation in a school activity which he/she will represents the school outside (must declared one week in advance);
 personal illness (must present medical certificate); and
 death or serious illness in the immediate family (must present death or medical certificate).
