and knobbly, connected with
horizontal stolons. Pale, long spongy
roots anchor mass. Invades
riverbanks and dam edges.
Reproduction by vegetative stolons.
Proposed category 1 under CARA and
NEMBA. Not to be confused with
indigenous spp – Nymphoides
thunbergiana, Nymphaea capensis,
and N. nouchali.
