NARRATIVE REPORT ON THANKSGIVING

“Give thanks with a grateful heart. Give thanks to the Holy one. Give thanks because he’s given
Jesus Christ His Son,” lyrics taken from the praise song Give thanks. This message from the song Give
Thanks really fits to our Thanksgiving program for the main stakeholders of Gonzales Elementary School,
the Alcazar Family. This special day is planned for the homecoming of Ma’am Olive Alcazar and her
family, to give a simple celebration, where GES pupils can eat together or have a small “salo-salo.”

In this special day, GES pupils and Scholars prepared a special number for our beloved
stakeholders, which everyone really enjoys especially the Alcazar Family, with Ma’am Olive and Hon.
Rico Alcazar. Our Teacher in Charge, Mam Cirila B. Endozo gives her thanks and gratitude for the big help
from them. Ms. Jenilyn Maiquez, Grade IV-Adviser and a former scholar of ma’am Olive Alcazar also
gave a message, she made a poem that really touch our hearts, and made her and one of us to cry. It is a
tear of overwhelmed because it really portraits what’s Ma’am Jen experienced when she is studying
which really inspired and reach for her dreams and made her successful till now. Ma’am Olive Alcazar
also gave an inspirational message for all of us, and she shared her humble beginnings in her life and
how she reached her dreams. The simple program ends with a video prayer entitled Give Thanks. And
everyone shared a small “salo-salo”.

Amazing people like them are really one of the blessings to keep. Each of us was inspired and
active to pursue what we have start to reach our main goal.
