When fitted with additional equipment, the carrier engine fulfills the TIER4I
and/or EUROMOT 3B exhaust emission standards.
Refer to the engine data card for information on which exhaust emission
standard the engine fulfills; à Engine data card, p. 6.
This exhaust emission standard is complied with through the use of a urea

G
Risk of accidents if the tank is not closed!
Close the tank each time you have refilled it.
In this way you can prevent other vehicles from being endangered by the
cap falling off or consumables escaping.
S
Risk of damage to the engine and catalytic converter!
Non-authorised consumables can cause damage to the engine and the cat-
alytic converter and will make any warranty claims void. Only use consum-
ables approved by the engine manufacturer.
G
H
S
Risk of damage to painted or aluminium surface!
Urea can damage these surfaces. Clean up spilled urea with water immedi-
ately.
H
In order to comply with exhaust emission regulations, the truck crane may
only be driven with urea. Driving with an empty urea tank will invalidate the
truck crane's licence for use on public roads.
While driving
– If the urea level drops to the reserve level, the lamp (1) lights up.
– If lamp (1) flashes, the engine torque is reduced the next time the engine
is started.
H
If the engine torque has been reduced, you can only shift the transmission
in manual operating mode.
