What is an art?

Art is an epitome of beauty. In every stroke in painting,

there are untold stories laid under it. In every song created, a
hidden message unsaid. In every acts performed, a cry never
seen. A life without an art is like a life without a meaning.
Without art our life would be dull and nonsense. Art for me is a
self -expression, a transparency of one's inner self. It depicts
our emotions, on how we view life, and the way we respond on our
surrounding. Just like art, our emotions may be sometimes plain,
or sometimes chaotic. It may turn out as abstract or a colorful
masterpiece but no matter what it will always be appreciated.

It is the expression or application of human creative skill

and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or
sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their
beauty or emotional power. In simpler terms, art is what we find
to be pleasing to our senses. In my opinion, art does not have a
true definition. Its definition is different for all of us. To
me, art is a way for one to express their selves. Each piece of
art means something different for every one of us.

Moreover, art depicts the nature of human. We can see art

in every corner, in the norms we followed. It is the foundation
of the society, and the baseline to study our history. We cannot
study history without art because even writing is a form of art,
we cannot deeply understand the writing and cite its hidden
message without study art.

Just because we don’t understand a particular piece does

not mean that it’s not considered art in society.
