SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The findings and proposed intervention program of this study will be great

significance to:

The Participants of the study, by means of sharing their experiences and knowledge to increase
their ecological awareness.

Further more, the study will help him/her utilize the given information to accelerate the process and be
able to share it to his/her students.

The People residing near the lake, by gaining more knowledge from the study to help them be
more conscious of their surroundings and lessen the people who are violating the ordinance of the lake.

The Society, through helping them inform the different factors affecting the cleanliness of the lake.
This will further give them an idea on how to improve the cleanliness of the lake.

The Researchers, by helping them in illustrating further interest in this study as well as the related
studies and literature involved. Therefore, this will lead to the generation of new studies that would
further enlighten the researchers regarding the topic.

The Future Researcher, by this study serving as a guide in their future research studies that will
be similar or relevant to this study. This may also inspire them and apply the lessons they’ve learned in
their life.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The study aims to determine the different ways to maintain the cleanliness of Buhi lake. This
study further seeks to answer the questions:

1) What is the level of cleanliness of the lake?

2) What are the factors affecting the cleanliness of the lake?
3) What are the measures to maintain the cleanliness?

4) What are recommendations that can further improve the cleanliness of the lake?
