HISTORY
The Geneva Business School is part of an established group
of learning institutions which include some of the most
renowned and progressive schools in Switzerland such as
St. George’s School in Clarens, the country’s first English
school established in 1927.
In 1995, IFGP (Institut de Formation en Gestion du
Patrimoine) was established to provide instructions to
mainly local Swiss private bankers. As demands for global
banking and finance outpaced the local demands, University
of Finance was created in 2001 to provide education in
