domestic air fares in Indonesia

announced plans to require the
use of Balinese script and the
wearing of Balinese traditional
dress at all future national and
international conference held on the
Island. The plans for Balinese-
scripted signs and a dress code for
international and national
conferences are contained in
Circular Announcement Number
3172 for the year 2019 that was
signed by Koster on April 5, 2019.
The Governor's circular memo was
sent to all Ministerial Departments,
non-government agencies, the
consulates of friendly nations,
institutions, private corporations
and event organizers.
In issuing the instructions, the
Provincial Administration
acknowledged Bali's established
popularity as a venue for

service can be used to improve the
e c o n o m y, s u p p o r t t o u r i s m ,
strengthen Balinese culture, and
supplement general knowledge

Rugby Australia issues Wallabies star Israel Folau
with termination notice
Rugby Australia has
officially issued Israel
Folau a “high level”
breach notice and the
Wallabies star faces
termination of his
contract over his social
media activity on April
10.
The notice comes less than five days
after the 30-year-old veteran of 73
Tests shared a meme that informed
the masses that hell awaits “drunks,
homosexuals, adulterers, liars,
fornicators, thieves, atheists and
idolaters”.
Folau now has 48
hours to accept the
sanction or have the
matter referred to a
Code of Conduct
hearing.
“At its core, this is an
i s s u e o f t h e
responsibilities an
employee owes to
their employer and the
commitments they
make to their
employer to abide by
their employer's
p o l i c i e s a n d
procedures and adhere to their
employer's values,” Rugby Australia
said in a statement.
“Following the events of last year,
Israel was warned formally and
repeatedly about the expectations of
him as player for the Wallabies and
NSW Waratahs with regards to social
media use and he has failed to meet
those obligations. It was made clear to
him that any social media posts or
commentary that is in any way
disrespectful to people because of
their sexuality will result in disciplinary
action.
“All professional Rugby players in
Australia are bound by the Code of
Conduct and there is a process in
place for any disciplinary matter. We
appreciate that this particular matter
will attract significant interest, but due
process must be followed.”
Folau, who earlier this year re-signed
with Rugby Australia on a new four-
year, $4 million contract that would

If, indeed, he does ask for a Code of
Conduct hearing, it's not yet known
when that will take place.

unlikely the Code of Conduct hearing
will take place over the next two
weeks.
Earlier on Monday, Wallabies coach
Michael Cheika indicated that Folau
would likely be frozen out of Australian
rugby regardless of the result.
Cheika said that a “line had been
crossed” and it would be hard to pick
his star fullback going forward
regardless of whether he is eventually
cleared to play.
“As it stands right now, considering
what I just said, you wouldn't be able
to,” Cheika told reporters at the
Waratahs' training base at Daceyville,
alongside NSW coach Daryl Gibson
and captain Michael Hooper.
Hooper, meanwhile, said that Folau's
comments made it difficult for him to
feel comfortable taking the field with
his longstanding teammate again.
“Like was said before, in this current
state and being hear and talking about
this as a rugby player, it makes it hard,
it makes it difficult,” Hooper said.
Last year, Folau said that he didn't
want to hurt the game in Australia and
would away from his contract if he was
asked to.
“After we'd all talked, I told Raelene if
she felt the situation had become
untenable — that I was hurting Rugby

once again reiterated his view that he
would be content to give the game
away if it was God's “will”.
