Como todos los tiempos verbales, el pasado perfecto también es aplicado para las
sentencias positivas, negativas e interrogativas.
Sentencias positivas: El pasado perfecto en una sentencia positiva tiene
la estructura de: "sujeto + had + participio pasado". como, por ejemplo:
1. Para una acción que ocurrió en el pasado, pero que ocurrió antes de otra
acción. Podemos ver esto en las siguientes oraciones.
Laura had flown to England for six years before she had problems.
Laura había viajado a Inglaterra durante seis años antes de que tuviera
problemas.
Mark had studied English for two years before he had to travel.
Mark había estudiado ingles durante 2 años antes de que él tuviera que viajar.
Like all verb tenses, the perfect past is also applied to positive, negative and
interrogative sentences.
Positive judgments: The perfect past in a positive sentence has the
structure of: "subject + had + past participle". for example:
1. For an action that occurred in the past, but that occurred before another
action. We can see this in the following sentences.
2. When an action continues to occur for a time in the past, but is stopped before
the present. We can see this in the following sentences:
Laura had flown to England for six years before she had problems.
Laura había viajado a Inglaterra durante seis años antes de que tuviera
problemas.
Mark had studied English for two years before he had to travel.
Mark había estudiado inglés durante 2 años antes de que él tuviera que viajar.
