Actually the scenario is like whenever any accident occured with any of the equipment in PM which is under warranty. Then the cost of the

And also let me know if it requires any customizing? If yes then please let me know.

Hi Anil,
2 You can refer the link below.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sbo2005asp1/helpdata/en/ac/bf6615668d44a8acaf90242e423db7/frameset.htm
Menu path:
SPRO > Logistics > Plant Maintenance Customer Service > Master data plant maintenance and customer service > Basic
settings > Warranties
3) Define warranty counter ( create a characteristic for the same in transaction CT04,assign the Char. to Class and then
assign the char while defining warranty counter in SPRO)
and if you are using the warranty claim processing then you will need SPRO > Logisitics > Plant maintenance customer service
> Warranty Claim Processing
For performance based warranty, a counter is defined for equip. and same char. is assigned to counter as created above.
Atleast one measuring doc. must be created for the above counter.
Master warranty is created in BGM1. assign service to master warranty, set inclusive for services which are requried to
perform during warranty. Assign counter to master warranty as define in SPRO.
Once the notification/order is created, the rest will be followed by normal maintenance process.

Deepak
