Hewlett Packard attempts to specify the life expectancy of its supplies, consumable parts, and
kits as accurately as possible. These specifications are made under what is thought to be
normal or average printing conditions. Usage patterns vary, sometimes significantly, from
customer to customer. Supplies, consumable parts, and kit life expectancy will vary with
varying usage patterns.

At any time, you can verify the life expectancy of any consumable by printing a Supplies
Status Page or viewing the Supplies Status Page through the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
To print the Supplies Status Page:

Color LaserJet CP6015

1. Press Menu to enter the menus.
2. Scroll down to INFORMATION and press (√).
3. Scroll down to PRINT SUPPLIES STATUS PAGE and press (√).

Color LaserJet CM6040 MFP AND CM6030 MFP

1. Scroll to and touch Administration to enter the MENUS.
2. Touch INFORMATION.
3. Touch CONFIGURATION/STATUS PAGES.
4. Touch SUPPLIES STATUS PAGE.
5. Touch PRINT.

To view the Supplies Status Page via the EWS:

1. Open a web browser.

2. In the address line, type the IP Address of the printer to open the EWS. Note: If a
certification warning appears, please click OK.
3. From the EWS home screen, click Supplies Status.

the estimated life. As with any supply or consumable parts, these life ratings are estimates
only.

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (C,M,Y,K): 35,000 letter/A4 equivalent pages @ 5%
coverage

The actual life of the print cartridge and imaging drum depends on the amount of toner that
print jobs require, the length of the print job and the length of the life for the components
inside the cartridges. The page-yield specification that HP provides is a general guideline.
Actual yield can vary according to usage conditions.

Use the Supplies Status Page to obtain information about the print cartridges and imaging
drums that are installed in the printer, the amount of life that remains in the print cartridges
and imaging drums, and the number of pages and jobs that have been processed.

Image Transfer Kit (ITB) Estimated Life

Estimated Life: 150,000 page

The image transfer kit includes one image transfer belt (ITB) and one toner cloth. The ITB has
no known or significant life variations.

Roller Kit Estimated Life

Estimated Life: 100,000 page

The roller kit includes one secondary transfer roller and one toner cloth. The roller has no
known or significant life variations.

Image Fuser Kit Estimated Life

Estimated Life: 150,000 page

The image fuser kit includes one fuser. The fuser has no known or significant life variations.
