UNICEF has established 230 static and 25 mobile Child Friendly Spaces (CFS)
altogether, which provide recreational activities as well as psychosocial support
to a total of 72,287 children, with an increase of 9,065 children within the last
week of October. Thus, to date UNICEF has achieved 46 percent of its target
for static CFS and 25 percent for mobile CFS.
So far 6 out 19 planned help lines nationwide have been established, providing
1,800 monthly referrals to children and their families in need of social services
and support.
In the last week of October, UNICEF supported psychosocial counselling for
groups in camps for an additional 5,394 children (12,003 total) and 224 women
(1,668 total). While 15,565 children (51,711 total) and 211 women (1,966 total)
participated in organized educational/ recreational activities.
Messages on mine risk education and unexploded ordinance are being
transmitted on Pashto radio services across KP, while 16,486 children and
10,396 adults have attended inter-personal session on risk education.

The CP sub-cluster has established an additional 47 static CFS, with a total of
189 static CFS and 6 mobile CFS over the duration of the emergency. These
