Institute of Research & Development
The Institute of Research & Development was founded in
2009 with important aim to provide quality education
and fostering pioneering innovative research in fields
spanning the entire range of Pharmaceutical science, Nan-
otechnology, Chemistry, Environmental science and
Structural engineering. At presently, the Institute pro-
vides M.Pharm., M.Sc., M.Tech. and Doctoral degrees to
the students in above mentioned specializations. The in-
stitute provide an environment in which researchers are
able to thrive with its high-tech laboratories and ad-
vanced infrastructural facilities. The institute recently
received prestigious FIST (Fund for Improvement of Sci-
ence & Technology Infrastructure) research grant from
Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi,
Government of India for a period of five years (2016-
2020) with the value of INR 69 lakhs. A number of re-
search projects from various funding agencies (DST, DBT,
CSIR, SERB, GUJCOST, BRNS, and GEMI) are getting

M.Sc. Food Technology
The program deals with the challenges associated with food
production, food safety, food quality and health along with a
rich infrastructure facility to make the students experts in food
analysis from forensic investigation prospective.
M.Sc. Environmental Science
Being an emerging economy, in India there is enormous demand
& futuristic needs for trained human resource and experts who
are capable to deal with monitoring and analysis of environ-
mental pollutions, treatment of pollution, and assessment of
environmental impacts of various development projects such as
industries, mining, housing, urbanization etc.
M.Sc. Forensic Analytical Chemistry
There is a strong worldwide demand for imaginative, skilled
analysts with knowledge and hands-on experience of modern
analytical instrumentation. Course work of this specialization
will help students to participate in multidisciplinary activity
that relies on chemical and analytical techniques .
M.Sc. Forensic Nanotechnology
The M.Sc. Forensic nanotechnology programme provides very
fundamental knowledge on nanotechnology as well as its wide
applications in different branches including forensic science.
