Why do you want to attend college? ​OR​ Why are you college material?
● I want to attend college for a more successful life for me and my family. I want my family
to live a great life. My family has given me so much, I want to give back everything
they’ve done for me.
● I’m college material because I'm encouraged to do my best and I’m motivated in building
new connections and bring new work and ideas to the world.
Why is your scholarship material?
● I’m very much scholarship material because I want to go above and beyond in my works
and do my best to learn and educate myself for a successful future by taking every
opportunity I can take to reach my goal.
What is unique about you as a learner? ​OR​ What is unique about you as a person?
● I don’t know if this is unique at all but I learn to understand something even if it takes me
time and if I start out slow when I try to learn something. I want to be able to learn
something to understand it enough to teach someone if they ever ask for help.
● I’m an odd person and I do things at my own pace when I feel nothing to compare to but
when I am compared to I feel like I’m always being left behind I try my best to catch up.
Describe a challenge you have overcome in your life.
● A challenge I’ve overcome would be the need for my independence to do things on my
own. I’ve wanted and struggled off the idea that my parents and people around me are
doing the works that I should be during my middle school days. I found with the much
love and support I get as an elementary student and I still love the support and love I get
today, however; independence to things I want including to go outside on my own to
achieve the things I want without being pulled right back home was what I overcame in
middle school.
Describe something you are proud of.
● I’m proud of hard work in high school and my gradual improvement every year that I go
up in school.
Is there anything else you would like me to know about you that would help me know you
better?
● I’m looking forward to the future.
What do you consider to be your strongest personal asset? And your weakest?
● What I consider as my strongest personal asset is that I’m willing to get involved and do
something. I want to finish or complete something to the very end.
● My weakest personal asset would be I’m a mess when it comes to presenting myself or
showing any confidence.

Which adjective do you feel best about?
● Forgiving
○ I don’t really hold any grudges and pretty tolerable as long as I can work in my
own space. Friends call me kind because I’m willing to help. Forgive and forget.
● Vibrate
○ I’m all over the place. I’m an active person who’s always moving around doing
anything. I also play tennis and I’m also the one that has an endless amount of
energy on the court.
● Humorous
○ I’m a goof at times especially if I know you. And I’ll crack a joke when I can think
of one. I’m a fool and surfing through my life with joys, laughs, and excitement.
