Introduction

You may not think it, but goal setting is an integral part of
being successful. Nearly everyone does it, be it a global
business or a fledgling entrepreneur they all have clear goals
that they want to achieve.
Goal setting is all about what hopes and aspirations you
have, writing them down, then plotting a series of achievable
actions which will lead you to your goal.

Studies have shown that people who set goals are up to 95 %


more likely to achieve their desired outcome than those who don’t set
goals.
How to goal set
effectively

1. Create a long-term goal (Something you want to achieve in


say, 5-10 years)

2. Type up a ‘Mission statement’, locking that goal in place.

3. Plan out how you can get there by implementing sub-goals


(Sub-goals; goals in their own right, but are almost like
checkpoints that will help get you to the main goal)

4. Keep dividing sub goals until you have lots of bitesize goals.
(Could even be as small as a daily to-do lists)
