Brief Project Description: PNC, being the 5th largest bank in the US, the aim of the Enterprise Data Management
Technology (EDMT) group is to make it BASEL II, BASEL III and BASEL IV compliant. The projects use enterprise data
warehouse (EDW) to provide data to downstream users and to generate reports based on the clients’ data like loans,
mortgages, investments, asset values and revenues, and submits it to the audit agencies of the US.

1. Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) consumption - Optimize the quality processes on data for accurate regulatory
reporting. Drive correct and consistent usage and consumption of data across business functions. It involves EDXF
consumption layer, enriching data required for enterprise level, removal or masking of redundant data attributes and
updates to business glossaries as part of common consumption.

2. Enterprise Regulatory reporting and RWA regulatory enhancement - This project acquired a system to perform
all of the various calculations, categorizations, reporting, etc. by sourcing its data from EDW. Establish a scalable
and sustainable enterprise-wide solution that supports regulatory reporting and regulatory changes. Enhance the
control framework, ensure data consistency across all the applications concerning regulatory, filings/submissions
and Improve transparency and efficiency.

3. POC of Real time Data Analytics - Customer Knowledge framework enriches customer 360 views and enables a
superior customer experience leveraging and complimenting existing and emerging interaction channels in a new
digital world. The framework brings in Real time Contextualization and Individual Customer Knowledge Graph
concepts.

Brief Project Description:


1. MPSO Pega - Improve sales efficiency, enabling cross selling, increasing customer satisfaction and retaining
customers, Bank started on the initiative to transform all the offering products to have multi product selling
capability using customer 360.
2. New Product Launch: As part of continuous improvement and extending customer base, bank came up with lot
of strategic initiative spanning from new Product Launch to Migration of portfolio. One of those initiatives is
launching new Product that involves major enhancement in Adjudication process. Along with that in effort to be
the leader in mobile technology in Canada, CIBC announced a new Mobile Payment feature that enabled
customers to use their feature enabled mobile phones as credit cards, for supported network operators.
3. MasterCard Portfolio Migration: The Program was initiated by CIBC to support the activities related to bank’s
acquisition of a portion of Master Card portfolio. As part of bank’s continued investment in strategic long-term
initiatives to grow, bank has planned to introduce MasterCard product. With introduction of MasterCard products,
became the first dual issuer of Visa and MasterCard credit cards in Canada.
