FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

(Adlib: Let the crowd greet one another.)

Before we officially start our Flag Ceremony Program, let’s spread good vibes muna. So, paano? Simple lang.
By greeting one another a Level 5 Goooood Morning! May pa-Level2 pang nasasayran nu, Okay. Here’s a
trivia, there are several approaches in saying good morning. May levels kita krun.
Level 0: You ignore people completely. Sino ra? Pagsueod sa opisina, derideritso sa eamisa ag pungko
without even bothering to greet your officemates. Biskan smile eang una, wag id.
Level 1: Raya mata hay kakasueod paeang sa office hay tag di euta eagi madrawing ru itsura. Nagakusmaod.
Level 2: Sanda mata ngara hay mga nagaGood Morning kimu pero uwa nagatueok. Wa kating kasayod kung
ikaw o ru saeog ta ru ana nga ginaabi2 it mayad ayad nga agahon.
Level 3: Daya mata hay of course with eye contact eon.
Level 4: Sanda mata ngara hay greeting a good morning nga may kaibahan nga pagpangamusta.
Of course Level 5: To the highest level mata ra, greetings with physical contact. By just simply shaking hands,
or pagtapik sa abaga, mas name gid gane hay with hug gid para damang dama gida.
Can we do that? Can we greet one another a Level 5 good morning? Mas name kung paeareho kita hay let
us greet with hug. Level 5 Good morning to the person in front of you, to your right side, to your left, and to
your back.
Then let’s do the group huuuuug. Joke lang hehe
Hopefully hay nagging manami inyung pamatyagan nu? Maliit na bagay lang naman yan. It takes no time and
costs no money, but it makes people happier at work - in my opinion because it reinforces good workplace
relationships between coworkers. And studies show that when you have a good start to your work day,
you’ll typically have a good day.
Let’s start.
(To our Provincial Governor, Honorable Joeben Miraflores) To our guest, Director Maria Carmen Ituralde, to
our Provincial Government Department Heads, to all the Provincial Government of Aklan employees and to

of our Lord to be led by Ms. Jeneva Dolinog from the PPDO.
As Filipinos, to signify our unity as a nation, let us stand proudly and sing loudly our Philippine National
Anthem to be conducted by Ms. Llane Ignacio which will be followed by our singing of the Aklan Hymn. May
I invite our Provincial Government Department Heads, Ma’am Mary Grace Macahilas of the Budget Office
and Engr. Roger Esto of the Planning Development Office in hoisting of the Philippine National Flag.
As to our pledge of loyalty to the Philippine National Flag, may I invite Ms. Rhoda Zaldivia of the PBO to lead
the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat.
To signify our commitment to our duties and responsibilities as public servants, May I call on Mr. Jorge
Icotanim, Jr. to lead us with our Panunumpa ng Kawani ng Gobyerno.
October was declared the Consumer Welfare Month based on Proclamation number 1098 of 1997. This
month gives national attention on the role that consumers play in the vitality of the Philippines’ economy.
To give us more insights about this month’s celebration, we are grateful to have here as our guest speaker,
the Provincial Director-Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Trade and Industry, Ladies and Gentlemen,
let us all welcome Director Maria Carmen Ituralde.
(Guest Speaker)
Thank you very much ma’am for enlightening us about the Consumers’ Welfare Month. Truly, this month is
our month as we are all consumers. (And we thank you for your commitment in reinforcing the DTI’s services,
programs and activities to protect the interests of consumers.) As a sign of our gratitude, we would like to
hand you a Certificate of Appreciation to be given by our Provincial Government Department Heads from
the Provincial Budget Office and the Provincial Planning Department Office, Ma’am Mary Grace Macahilas
and Engr. Roger Esto. Let me read to you first the citation.
Thank You Ma’am’s and Sir.
Aside from the Consumers’ Welfare Month, month of October of every year is also declared as the National
Statistics Month pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 647. The province of Aklan joins the
nationwide celebration of the 29th National Statistics Month with the theme “Exploring the Philippine
Wonders in Numbers: Statistics towards Sustainable Tourism Development”. One of the activities in this
celebration is the Regional Statistics Quiz for all high school students in Region 6. In participation to this, the
Provincial Government of Aklan through the Provincial Planning and Development Office will conduct a
Provincial Statistics Quiz for High School Students that will be joined by 8 secondary schools coming from
both public and private schools. This will be held on October 2, 2018, 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Governor
Corazon L. Cabagnot Tourism and Training Center, Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan.
Right after this, I would like to invite everyone to participate in the Holy Mass celebration as to start our first
day of the month work blissful and full of God’s guidance.
Let’s all start our work with this verse from Colossians 3:23-24,
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you
know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Good morning and have productive week ahead everyone!
