PRODUCT NAME
The EXPRESSBIKE has been a great success story for the Japanese two-wheeler
manufacturer in our market and it was among the products that established the
offerings in the form of the CB Dazzler and the CB Trigger but both the
offering with the Unicorn moniker, say hello to the EXPRESSBIKE Unicorn 160.
The task at hand for the EXPRESSBIKE Unicorn160 isn’t an easy one given the
fact that the new motorcycles in the segment like the Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha
The styling of the Gixxer is in sync with modern street bikes with a mass forward
design and one can appreciate the design best in profile.
Yamaha designers have maintained the brute street bike styling of the stock FZ and
have added subtle details to make the FZ-S FI more visually appealing. Additions
like the sharper headlamp, petite tail section, restyled all-digital console, split seats
and redesigned muffler have enhanced the bikes styling.

Remove excess fuel by syphoning or by removing the fuel lines and draining
the tanks.
Inflate tyres to at least 15psi. Too much pressure with make the tyre contact
points skittish, and lower pressure will help provide a larger “grip” footprint.
Place the bikes across the container placing each bike in the opposite
Place a cheap 100mm thick foam mattress between each pair of motorcycles
to prevent rubbing or more severe damage in the event that the ties let go for
some reason. If you have no use for the mattresses on completion, regard
them as a part of the removal cost and donate them to a pre-school or charity
as long as they are in an unsoiled condition. 1880 x 910 x 100 covered foam
front end hard against the container wall. This means normally that the rear
end will be away from the opposite wall. For the first bike in the container it
is best to jamb the front wheel into the corner of the container and tie it
down there, as one tie down point will be on the end wall and one on the
side wall. This will cause the front end to twist sideways if you try to keep it
straight, so don’t oppose the natural forces, go with them. Do not put bikes
on their centre stands or side stands for extra support as this can be counter-
productive and not allow the bike to be pulled down tight enough.
Use good quality tie downs to pull down the front of the bike against the
wall, and ensure that the tie downs angle away from the bike so that there is
a triangulated effect holding the front of the bike. Cheap tie downs cost
about $25 but can let you down when under load as the straps are usually a
lesser quality fabric which does not grab as well (slippery feel) or the clips
break under the pressure or are hard to undo. Spend a little extra and get
good tie-downs. Give then to your mates after or keep them, you can never
have enough!
Use the lugs on the bottom of the container to support the tie down. You will
need to use flat hooked tie downs to be able to fit them through the clearance
between the container wall and the lug and loop them back onto the
strapping. The hook should be positioned so that it traps the strap in so that it
won’t slide out if the strap becomes loose for some reason. Use the free end
of the strap to tie the strap off with a number of half hitches as security
For bikes with long travel front suspension, such as modern dirt bikes it is
subsequent rebound causing the hooks of the tie downs to slip out of the
loop and let the front free. This is best done by pulling the suspension down
The rear for the motorcycle needs to be tied back against the container wall
using the same lugs on the opposite side. This can be done again with tie
downs, but with light motorcycles rope is sufficient if well tied. Protect
Again the idea is to triangulate the direction of the ties to prevent movement
of the wheel sideways. For large heavy motorcycles tie downs should be
used for the rear as well as the front, and attached to the frame rather than
the wheel.
the front wheel from sideways movement, which if there is bouncing and
compression of the suspension and the wheel unloads it can jump sideways
and you have a bike on its side. This is easily controlled by mounting 100 x
50 x 400 timbers either side of the front wheel using self tapping wood
screws into the container floor. These are easy to apply and on removal the
against. If tie downs are close to tanks or indicators etc then wrap and secure
old rags around the likely rub point. Check also where bouncing due to
suspension compression might cause rubbing and again wrap with rags. If
motorcycles, then loosen them off and turn them away from the likely clash
point, or leave them slightly loose to allow movement. Foot pegs from dirt
take care also to wrap them in rags or old gloves or rubber inner tube.
After all that there is no guarantee that things will end up being perfect, as it
direction of likely reaction loads from movement. The best advice is to plan
the tying down process, work carefully and double check all tie down points
likely clash points and give the bike a good solid rock at the end to check
that it is indeed solid and unlikely to move. People who have been around
motorcycles for some time will have no problem with this process.
CHANNEL OF DISTRIBUTION
A channel of distribution or trade channel is defined as the path or route along which goods move
from producers or manufacturers to ultimate consumers or industrial users. In other words, it is a
distribution network through which producer puts his products in the market and passes it to the
actual users. This channel consists of :- producers, consumers or users and the various middlemen
like wholesalers, selling agents and retailers(dealers) who intervene between the producers and
consumers. Therefore, the channel serves to bridge the gap between the point of production and the
point of consumption thereby creating time, place and possession utilities.
While EXPRESSBIKE has strong foothold in the industry, the company should look into the areas of
weakness.
In this connection, It is suggested that the company can look into the following areas:
In order to expand its business it should introduce innovative schemes for young generations,
better financial schemes, etc.
The company should expand its service centers.
The must move towards the rural areas to expand its sale.
(iii) The consumer gets 25 % off if they show previous any dealing with our company.

SOCIAL MESSAGE
Everywhere you look these days, you're bombarded with business advice. Newspapers, internet,
and television all offer a number of ways to promote your business and compel clients to beat your
door down. The trouble is, most of this great advice is aimed at larger businesses. What if your
company is a start up, and you're the sole employee? Businesses of this size seldom have a huge
operating budget OR a huge advertising budget.
As a small (local) business owner, I've faced this exact same dilemma. Your advertising budget is
limited, yet you need to get the word out about your product or service. Without an aggressive
promotional campaign, you know that your business will stagnate and die. So what are your
options?
No, not just say you are. Really make good customer service a priority. Examine your current
customer service and make the changes that need to be made to ensure that your small business is
providing service superior to that of your competitors, whether it be investing in staff training or
revamping your return policy.
Although you certainly have to get the basics right, there’s a whole lot more to the customer
service transaction that just serving a customer. Expand your thinking to include the
whole customer service experience. One of the quickest ways of improving customer service that
small businesses often overlook is increasing the ways that customers can pay, for instance. And
little things can make huge differences to the customer’s experience. Think of Sleep Country’s
delivery people wearing their booties when they deliver to people’s homes.
I always feel like I’m shouting into the wind when I write this, but your small business really,
really needs a website. I know, I know – you don’t have time. But creating a professional looking
website can be quick and easy nowadays and your small business needs to be in the online space.
It’s the first rule of advertising; go where the eyeballs are. The eyeballs are online. Banner ads,
paid search listings, AdWords ads, rich media, pop-ups (and unders) – there are all kinds of paid
opportunities online for you to reach your target market.
Social media networks such as Twitter and LinkedIn are already following the trend, working hard
to promote their paid advertising potential.
The point being that if you’ve already invested time in social media, you’re going to have to invest
money too if you want to actually reach potential customers. And if you haven’t done much with
social media yet, popular social media networks can be great places to advertise, especially as
they’re still relatively inexpensive.
As I’m writing this, Pinterest is being touted as the best place in the digital universe for businesses
to be. It refers more traffic than Twitter, YouTube and Tumblr, is second only to Facebook, and
Pinterest’s traffic referrals increased 48% between the end of 2013 and March 2014 (We Are
Social).
6) Go mobile.
If we do nothing else mobile-wise this year, you need to make sure that your online presence,
including your business website, is mobile friendly, as ever-increasing numbers of people are
surfing and searching with their phones – even when they’re at home.
But there are two other trends that your small business could really profit from. The first is mobile
marketing. There’s a whole range of mobile-specific strategies you could be using to reach your
target market with great effect, from text message advertising and mobile display ads through
having an app designed for your own business.
Many small businesses focus almost all their marketing efforts on attracting new customers –
which is the hard way to increase sales. It’s much easier (and more cost-effective) to sell more to
the customers you already have instead.
our current customer is already converted, so to speak – because he or she has bought from you
before, he or she is much more likely to buy from you again. Shift your sales focus to selling more
to your proven customers and you’ll automatically increase your profits.
8) Radio Advertising
Local business can enjoy significant exposure through advertising on the radio, although it is not
necessarily cheap. If you are a car mechanic advertising during a car repair talk show, this can be
gearted towards a highly targeted audience.
For certain types of small business, a Facebook page can be an invaluable and FREE source of
advertising. Similar to your Twitter account you should use the many resources available to share
information about your business, industry and niche, link to blog posts and stimulate
discussion. You will want to encourage friends and customers to “like” your page to extend your
reach.
With a website and blog comes the need for effective SEO i.e. ensuring that your website ranks
high for relevant search queries. You can improve your SEO by including key words that are
pertinent to your business (the more specific, the better). Other ways of ensuring better website
ranking is to build backlinks. There are an almost overwhelming number of resources to help
guide you through the process, which can be found on Google. It is important to note that SEO
should happen organically and is ongoing process.
