NANOJET Operating Instructions

4. NANOJET operating instructions

The NANOJET system consists of NANOJET and PC software (PIPC). Among

them, the PC software may edit and generate printing file (DPP file) according to
users’ printing demands, while NANOJET prints out the printing file. In addition, the
printing relevant parameters are also set up at NANOJET; some simple printing
demands can also be directly printed out in the mode of local template printing (i.e. no
PC is needed to generate a file). The hardware conditions needed for printing (i.e.
sensor and synchronizer) are also set up through NANOJET.
For startup, press the power supply button on the enclosure (wait for three to five
seconds for repeated startup). Use the remote controller to aim at the NANOJET
infrared sensor (0.1m-15m), and press the button to select four options in the startup
interface (as in the following figure). Before printing, set up the relevant printing
parameters (in [system setting]), and one operation of cartridge cleaning is
recommended to ensure initial printing quality (in [system maintenance]).

9.2.5 Counting data format

If the printed data are increasing attribute data, the attribute data can be used for
printing. Select the counter in the graphic box, and then single-click the blank space
on the right. Refer to the following figure:

9.2.5.1 Primitive attribute settings

In the “general attribute” in the primitive attribute settings, only the rotation of
fixed angle can be selected; in the attribute of data association, the initial value and
stop value of printed data can be set up, i.e. the starting number and the ending
number for printing. The step length of each printing can be set up, i.e. the
increment of the printing page numbers of each time; the printing format can also be
set up. Notes: v represents the number of digitals of printed figure; for example,
vvvvvvv represents 0000000, meaning that a figure of seven digits at most can be
printed. The maximum number of v is ten digitals. In the font attribute, the font of
counter can be set up (no more introduction here). Refer to the following figure:

11 Cautions
1. After the printhead is installed, anti-shock mechanism must be installed to prevent
printhead being damaged during printing process (when the anti-shock mechanism
hasn’t been installed, any external damage incurring to the printhead, such as collision
of box to the printhead, does not belong to the warranty scope).

2. 2. Ensure the support installed firmly and all screws screwed tightly after the whole
installation is completed.

3. It is suggested to use UPS as the power supply to avoid machine damage due to
power failure.

79 / 83
Cautions

4. Power ground is strongly recommended to the user. Additionally, try to avoid

sharing power supply with large power equipment (such as motor).

5. If there is too much dust in the working environment, it is strongly recommended to

use air compressor to clean internal dust.

Cautions for operation:

1. When the ink-jet print is indistinct, please confirm to keep the jet nozzle within the
optimal jet printing distance, i.e. 3mm from the printed articles.

2. If ink trailing appears during ink-jet printing, please wrap the cartridge nozzle
surface with special wiping paper.

3. If there is lots of dust in the field environment, please clean dust with the air gun
upon line stop every day.

4. Please keep well the remote controller and avoid losing.

5. If irresolvable failure occurs to the coding machine, please contact the agent.

Appendix 2: Instructions for Time Format

1. Character string of time format is 21 bytes at most.

2. y, m, d, h, n and s are format feature characters and used to replace actual data.
Non-feature characters can be printed directly.
3. Limitation to the format feature character in the format character string
All must be lowercase letters and cannot appear in the format character string (i.e.
feature character number can be zero).
y represents year, in 4 or 2 numbers, for instance, 2011 or 11
m represents month, in 2 numbers, for instance 12
d represents day, in 2 numbers
h represents hour, in 2 numbers
n represents minute, in 2 numbers
s represents second, in 2 numbers
4. For example: 2011-3-11 20:30:00
yyyy-mm-dd hh:nn:ss
Format: yyyy-mm-dd hh:nn:ss

Appendix 3: Instructions for Counting Format

1. Character string of format is 21 bytes at most.

2. v (lowercase) is format feature characters and used to replace actual data.
Non-feature characters can be printed directly.
3. Limitation to the format feature character in the format character string

format feature characters at most

4. For instance: H0000001X
Format: HvvvvvvvX

Appendix 4: Input instruction of fixed data

Character string of fixed data is 33 bytes at most.
