LAC NARRATIVE REPORT ON TEACHER’S REVIEW ON
DIFFERENT APPROACHES AND METHODS

One of the most important ways in providing the teachers the technical assistance to
ensure an increase in school academic performance of the learners of Balagtas Heights
Elementary School is through Learning Action Cell. Pursuant to the School Memorandum
____, s. 2018, the school conducted LAC on Teacher’s Review on Different Approaches and
Methods of Teaching on November 23, 2018 at 3:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M in Grade 3 room.
This was attended by all teachers. Its aim were to refresh and introduce to the
teachers about different approaches and methods in teaching and to discuss the guidelines
of teaching skills in its effective use.
Through the chairmanship of Ms. Mirasol M. Gole Cruz, the LAC was made successful.
The session started at exactly 3:00 P.M with a fervent prayer led by Ms. Rachel P. Mariano
followed by a short message of Ma’am Jocylyn DC. Manzano. The core of the LAC was made
possible by the speakers. Introduction about Different Approaches and Methods of Teaching
was manifested and talked by speakers Ms. Mirasol M. Gole Cruz and Ms. Licelle I. Molina.
Their topic is all about principles, beliefs or ideas about the nature of learning which
translated into the classroom. They shared and pointed out about the importance of having
strategies in teaching. Ms. O Sei San A. Iglesias, Ms. Maria Riza DC. Magalona and Ms. Celina
Katherine T. Marquez also shared their knowledge and understanding about their topic,
Examples of Teaching Approaches and its Effective uses. According to them, when teachers
are guided through those approaches, it will be easier for to understand their learners.
Teachers easily identify the learners’ strengths, weaknesses and the learning gaps. It will be
easier to understand whether one approach is effective to the learners or not or is there a
need to the teacher to give a one-on-one assistance or help to a/an identified learners.
Maam Jocylyn DC. Magalona ended the session with a parting word and she said, “A
good teaching aligns with a good methods and approaches. Teachers should have an eclectic
knowledge about the approaches and methods in order to pass a quality learnings among
learners and that learners will be motivated in learning as well.”
The session lasted at exactly 5:00 P.M.
