MY SOCIAL MEDIA PERSONALITY

A. My social networking sites, why I use them, what I use them for, and what I share:

- The social networking sites that I use include Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram,
Viber, and Telegram. I use these applications to communicate and interact with different people.
I also use these apps to stay connected and updated with all the happenings and teas in the
online world. Although these applications have almost the same features, I use each of them in
a different matter. The content and approach I give on each of these apps differ as it varies
depending on the publicity and amount of people who view my page.

- On Facebook, I usually just share memes, art, and food posts. I barely share my personal
thoughts there unlike on twitter as I have more connections (more people who can view my
content) on my Facebook account. On twitter, I would share my personal thoughts if I feel like to
because there are less people who can view it. I also retweet sensible videos or posts may it be
serious or not. On Instagram, I just share the highlights of my daily happenings on my insta story
and sometimes post pictures. Further, messenger, telegram, and viber have the same use for
me which is messaging. The only difference is that the people whom I use each of them to.

B. What I appreciate about social media, what I enjoy and like seeing on it:

- As someone who was born in the digital age, I appreciate social media in way that
communicating has been made easier. It’s made more convenient especially to those who are
far from their loved ones. Social media makes us connected with people we admire like
celebrities, bands, etc.

C. What I do not like about social media, things I don’t want to see on the platform:

- What I do not like in social media is when the netizens use these apps to bring someone
down. Inappropriate use of social media include better access for others to continue cyber
bullying.

D. Reminders for the ethical and responsible use of social media:

- Do not use social media as an advantage to hurt other people

- Be careful on spilling your private details
- Do not engage yourself more on social media than in real life
