Course Description:

Basic concepts and methods of descriptive and inferential statistics and their use in the design, analysis,
and interpretation of psychological studies.

Course Outcome:

At the end of this course, the students are expected to:


1. Apply basic concepts and methods of descriptive and inferential statistics in the design, analysis and interpretation of psychological studies.
2. Conduct a survey and apply the concepts in statistics to determine the findings regarding the explored phenomenon.
Course Credits: 5 units

Class Policies:

• Tardiness will not be tolerated. Being late for 15 minutes in a 1 ½ hour class or 30 minutes for a 3 hour class is considered absent.
• Students who are causing disruptions during class hours will be punished as defined in the student manual.
• Special exams will only be given to students who were able to secure an excuse slip from the OSA as defined in the student manual.
