The Vedic Jyothishsastra from the early period to till today gone into
many changes in the predictive side and there are so many systems
have come for delineating the charts (kundali). Each has Its own
merits and advantage but all of them are very elaborate Procedure
and lot of steps to be followed to arrive to an answer.
Many new educated entrants have come to the field of Astrology to
understand the procedures of the science have failed to know the
methods because the present elaborate systems are not helping
them instead they all get confused and seek more clarifications or
easy methods and steps to read their own chart.
In that direction only Vedhick Dharshi has step in and came out with
a new easy theory of prediction. Let us see how it operates. Before
stepping into it is better to know the various weakness points at
present in the predictive system. To overcome these weakness
points without much Yogas and complicated sutras we derived a
system in 1997 and teaching to the students in Andhra Pradesh and
Tamil Nadu. It is very easy to follow once you understand the rules
and procedures of the system.
There is a sloka in the Vedic shastra that the Sastras are written for
the four Varnas. Up to 19th century the four varnas systems were in
existence but in the modern time lot of changes have come and
slowly the Varnas system is in non existence.
There is a change in the educational system lot of courses were
introduced and more Universities have opened to part education.
Literacy level has increased. Population changes have taken place.

Previously it was small hamlets and limited members but now more
cities and urban areas have come and it has increased population
more than 100 times, and it has reflected in the planets activities
also and it actions are changed to suit to the modern life of activities
but astrologers are still taking the old activities of the planets and
reading the charts.
As said earlier the planets activities have also changed and they are acting on
a new way according to the social changes taken in the society. Form these
changes it makes us to think that the planets are also responsible if not no
changes would have taken place.

Many sutras or Yogas referred by the writers may not present in the
same manner in the chart. How can we take the Yogas and sutras for
reference if the points of the Yoga and sutras are not fully operating
in the chart? If the sutras/Yogas are not properly explained with the
chart then those who are following the books will be misguided.
Therefore, a suitable point and good reference has to be given in
books and magazines, so that the astrologers who read the books
and magazines will be very cautious in reading a chart.
For example: Many astrologers have said in our Prime Minister Sri
Modiji’s horoscope the neecha Moon in the 2nd house with the
owner Kuja giving a vipareetha Raja Yoga and given him the elevation
to Prime Minister. It is not only correct but wrong also. Because the
VIparitha Raja Yoga acts in many ways in the charts according to the
houses and the planets are placed therein. Here the astrologers twist
their tongues to suit to the situation and give different
interpretation.
Actually here the fifth lord with the lagna lord placed in the 11th
house has elevated him to the position. This rule is there in Sarvartha
Chinthamani. Further the third lord of aspiration Guru is being placed

In the 5th house and is aspecting the 11th house. None of the
astrologers have mentioned these points while giving explanation
for the top elevation. it reveals that we are not studying the chart on
all angles. Another example: In Acharya Sri Rajinesh’s horoscope five
important planets are in the 8th house next to Sun. Here we take the
vamsi Yoga to explain the reason for his status of a philosopher and
acquired the raja sanyasam. If you refer the vamsi Yoga the Yoga
says without Moon the planets should be there to give the results.
But in the chart the Moon is there then how this Yoga can operate.
There may be some other points hidden in the chart which we
missed while reading the chart.
Then they say the Moon and Guru are in 6/8 position in the chart
gives Shakata Yoga and it has given all other benefits for him. Here
also this yoga like Vipareetha Raja Yoga can be twisted according to
the situation. This is also not a correct reference
There is Yoga in the chart created by the Parivarthana between
planets of Moon and Jupiter. There is a rule in astrology, that is in all
horoscopes where the Parivarthana Yoga is operation it will act in
Uttarayana and Dhakishinayana order and that too every six months
only. At that time the planets will exchange their houses. The 5
planets in the 8th house will go to Cancer and the Guru in the Cancer
will come to his sign the Dhanurrasi. This exchange of houses will
take place every six months according to uttarayana and
Dhashinayana.
For example: During the emergency period in India 1974 -1977 many
astrologers inmany magazinesof astrology have written that Mr.
Sanjay Gandhi will be the next Prime Minister. Nobody is able to
predict his early death before writing such predictions. Like that Mr
Rajiv Gandhi also they could not forecast a bomb blast for him. In
Mr.Rajiv Gandhi’s horoscope the lagna itself is not correct and all are

going with Simha Lagna and predicting the chart. He is Cancer sign
born person. Such mistakes are there in our readings and therefore
Longevity should be checked before reading a chart.
Astrology means forecasting the event before an event and not
after knowing the results. In medical line, it may be correct to have
the results why the person died in spite of good treatment to keep
a record for future treatment of the same case of disease. But it
should not be applied to astrology. Here no two horoscopes give
the same results. There is difference of results coming in twins born
to the parents. Therefore, such references may not be much useful.
If there is a peculiar case we can take the reference and make a
suitable sutra for future readings of the charts.
LAGNA AND PURVA PUNYA
If the lagna is not fixed in the chart correctly then, we may not be
able to read the chart by house wise. To understand the native’s
nature lagna is important. The lagna is worked out from the time of
birth. The father and mother are important for the birth of a child. So
the genetic factors will be there in the native’s birth besides his
previous Janma Punya and it reflects through the lagna.
Therefore, the fifth and ninth house is dominating in the chart with
Purvapunya and Bagya. If you count from the fifth house to lagna it
will be nine houses like that if you count from 9thhouse the lagna will
be the fifth house. Either way if you count the Purva Punya and
Bagya are very closely connected to the lagna.
Purvapunya is judged from the 5th house and to it the 11 house is 3rd
house. Like that the Bagya is stored in the 11th house of profits and
to it the 11th house the Bagyasthana. To achieve profit in life we have
to try and put efforts (3rd house) therefore from the 9th house it is
the third house is the 11th house. Therefore in GMP we have taken

this 3/11 houses of a chart as the main point and delineate the natal
as well as the Prashna sastra. The combination goes like this:

PURUSHARTHA DHARMA (VEDHIC PRINCIPLES)

The person born in this world should follow some good principles so
that as per Hindu Dharma sastra the person will attain Moksha
(Liberation).The four VEDHIC principles are DHARMA (righteous
way)(abiding to the rule of law) ARTHA (Finance)(earning in a good
and normal way) KAMA (wishes) (sex) and MOKSHA (liberation) (get
out of some problem). From Mesha sign in the above order the
houses have been allotted in the Zodiac circle.
VARADA LAGANA
In Maharishi Prashara siddhantha there is topic on Varada Lagna.
Here odd sings and even signs are added after going into calculation
for Horalagna. This is just modified in the GMP system with Thatwas
and in a understandable way to study the horoscope. This is a new
system we have developed and named it IN PRASHARA
SIDDDHANTHA GURUMURTHI PANDDHATI and it is called in short
form as GMP.
PURUSHARTHA DHARMA (VEDHIC PRINCIPLES)

Here it is grouped in Thatwa which works in a complimentary way.
The fire requires Air and therefore it is facing opposite side in the
zodiac circle. Like that earth requires water and it is in opposite side
to earth as shown below.

house. Like that the Bagya is stored in the 11th house of profits and
to it the 11th house the Bagyasthana. To achieve profit in life we have
to try and put efforts (3rd house) therefore from the 9th house it is
the third house is the 11th house. Therefore in GMP we have take
this 3/11 houses of a chart as the main point and delineate the
natal as well as the Prashna sastra. The combination goes like this:

If you see from the above chart that the Natal lagna sign/houses will
become the 11th house to Varada lagna. It is always in any chart the
2nd and 11thhouse when combine then it will give the benefits to that
house. For example, if you take the 1st house (self) the native wish to

acquire something (2nd house) and it will fulfil when the 11th house
lord co-operate. Here the 3, 4, 5 and 9, 10, 11 are important for the
growth of the native and it goes with the houses 1/7 If planets are
fixed in the house the growth of the native is there
COMBINATION OF HOUSES
We have combined the houses on odd sign basis and even sigh basis
as per varadalagna. See below the chart.

After going through the complicated system of predictions now

followed by many astrologers all these days and not getting correct
time of event, we have worked out in our research centre VEDHIC
DHARSHI and arrived to an easy system so that all astrologers can
understand it and can give a good reading of the Natal chart without
much difficulties. Here we have some tips for prediction and that
should be followed then only it will be very easy to give correct
interpretation of the chart.
In this system, the owners of the houses are important and then we
combine owners and go to the house where it is placed in the chart.
Then we get the position in the following numerical group.
2/12, 3/11, 5/9. 6/8 and Kendra
These combination numbers will tell the result of the combined
houses. From the arrived combination of houses the numerical
figures gives the result as follows;If the resultsof the combination

houses are in the group of 2/12 and 6/8 then the native will get the
house benefits up to 25%
If the results are coming in the group of 3/11 and 5/9 the native will
enjoy 60% benefits results.
If the combination comes in KENDRA then the results will give 100%
satisfaction in that house matters for the native. It is given in the
following tabulation for remembering the combinations results.

Sometime contrary to the above results may prevail in some charts

because in the chart some other planets may be in occupation in the
combination of the houses or by the aspects from other planets to
that houses. Here we have some tips for every house combinations
and the results should be verified with the tips and you will have an
answer for that houses. Even after application of the tips the results
are not arrived then the horoscope may be wrong and It requires
rectification.Following one or two examples will help you to
understand the chart and how to read it in this system.
Before proceeding to read a chart it is very essential that we should
know the longevity of the chart. There is an easy method given by

Parashara to Judge for the Longevity taking the 3, 8 and 12 houses
we get an idea of the longevity.

PRASHNODAYA IN GMP
What is PRASNODAYA? Is it a new method in Prasna sastra? Why now, when
there are so many Prasna sastra books are available in the market why this
new one createda question may arise in our minds. It is nothing but thisPrasna
Sastra is different one withnew clues from the purva punya and Bhagyahouses
to answer very quickly all the questions accurately with timing of event,and
without dasa, which is not there in any other Prasna systems now available.
Since it is a new method therefore, wenamed it as PRASNODAYA. The meaning
of it is a new UDAYA (NEW RISING) in Pasna sastra.Now let us go into the
history of Prasna Sastra and it developments to understand how it is different
one.
How the GMP system chart is prepared
In this system throughout the world the Sun rise is taken as 6.00 am only. Here
let us see how the horoscope is casted. Every 15th of English month the Sun
enters from one sign to another sign. Sum time it may enter on 14th or 16th as
an average we have taken it as 15th. Let us take the day 25.1.2017 and cast a
horoscope as per this method.
English date : 25.01.2017
Entry -do- : 15.01.2017
Days ‘lost : 11 days:
The Sun travels 1 degree in 4 minutes per day. Here the lagna’s Sun moves per
day 1 degree, therefore for the 11 days 11 degrees x 4 minutes 0.44 minutes.
On the first day of (15th) the lagna will be from 6.00 am to 8.00 am in the
sign.Every day it will be reducing 4 minutes therefore, on 25th of the day 8.00 (-
) 0.44 = 7.16 am makara sign will be completed. So at 4.55 pm the lagna will be
at = 16.55 – 6.00 = 10.55 hrs. Convert this hours into minutes then it will be
655 -:- 4 ( 4 minutes = 1 degree)= 163 .3/4 (164) degrees. Here the lagna will
rise at 164 degrees from the position in makara at 6.00 am. 11 days have
passed from 15th to 25th. Andthe lagna will be at 11 degrees at 6.00 am. So if

you take the balance 19 degrees in Makara + Kumba 30 + Meena 30 + Mesha
30 + Rishaba 30+ Mithuna 30 it will be 169 degrees. We require 164 degrees
point. Therefore, you deduct 5 degrees i.e. (30 – 5= 25 degrees of Mithuna).
Here the Lagna at 16.55 hrs will be 25 degrees of Mithuna. This can be
calculated in other way also.
At mentioned above at 7.16 am Makara sign will be over. So in theeveningthe
opposite sign of Cancer (karkataka) six signs after Makara, will be over by
7.16 pm. It takes two hours to crossa sign.Therefore, to know at what time
cancer will rise you should deduct from 7.16 pm – 2.00 hrs = 5.16 pm the
cancer sign will start. Our Prasna time is 4.55 pm. Therefore from 5.16 – 4.55
= 0.21-:- 4 = 5.1 degrees (fraction is omitted since it is less than half)If you
deduct from 30 degrees the ending point of Mithuna sign and starting point of
Cancer, this 5 degrees it will come as 25 degrees ofGemini
Normally we take the Sun’s actual position in the chart at 5.30 am as given in
the Ephemeris and to it if 1 degree more added then it will give the days’
motion. Taking this position of Sun at 6.00 is on the day and calculate for the
lagna’s position in the chart. For example it is calculated like this. Today (31st
Jan 2017) the actual position as per ephemeris 5.30 am position is 17.31
degrees in Capricorn (Makara) and adding 1 degree to it, it will be 19 degrees.
Take this position at 6.00 am. Now the time is 13.25 hours. So from 6.00 am to
13.25 pm = 7 hrs 25 minutes lapsed. Convert this into minutes it will be 445
minutes -:- 4 = 111. If you add this to the 19 degrees of Makara it will come as
130 degrees. So we have to move 130 degrees from Makara 19 degrees to
arrive for the rising lagna point.In Makara balance 11 degree + Kumba 30 +
Meena 30 + Mesha 30 + Rishaba 30 and put all together it will be 131 degrees.
We require 130 degrees. Therefore if you reduce 1 degree in Rishaba i.e.
30thdegree of Rishaba will be rising point of the Lagna for the time 13.25
pm.Here now the Rishaba ruled by Sukra + the 30th degree ruled by the
constellation of Kuja (Mrigashira 2nd pada). Here we write or say this as
Sukra/Kuja. Today Sukra Kuja coinjoined in Meena. Therefore it is considered
as Kendra. If the lagna lord and the lagna rising constellation lord as per the
chart placed in one place then we call it as Kendra.It is taken that the matter
raised at this hour will fructify very quickly. If the position comes as 2/12, 3/11,
it will materialize after 2/3 hours it shows delay. If it is 5/9 position then it is
abnormal delay or may not give any results. If the position indicates 6/8 then

say the matter will never materialize or it has come to an end. Suppose a
person ask a question whether the person admitted in the hospital will survive
and if the prasna lagna position indicates as 6/8 then he will never recover.
Like that quick answers can be given from the Lagna’s position itself. In any
system of Prasana you cannot answer so quickly.
