diet based on the food pyramid.
STANDARD 3.2.4 Give reasons on the effects of
imbalanced food intake.
CONTENT STANDARD 3.2 Classes of Food
3.2.5 Explain the result of observations
about classes of food through written or
verbal forms, sketches or ICT in a creative
way.
At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :
LEARNING 1) Create one meal that apply the knowledge of balanced diet.
OBJECTIVE 2) Fill in the blank with the correct reasons and effects of imbalanced food intake.
Induction Set : Pupils answer the questions about the classes of food.

Development
1) Pupils see the picture of food pyramid and read the notes inside the text book about the food pyramid.
2) Pupils sit in group and they paste the food according to the food pyramid.
TEACHING AND
3) Pupils then discuss and create one meal that contain all the classes of food.
LEARNING 4) Pupils present their work in front of class.
ACTIVITIES 5) Pupils reas the dialogue in the text book about the effects of imbalanced food intake.
6) Pupils complete the worksheet in the Activity Book.

Closure :
Pupils make conclusion about today’s topic by stating the effects of imbalanced diet.
