Costing:
Receive the RFQ along with the customer drawing from the marketing department.
Quote the feasible parts based on our management agreed costing norms for existing
customer and competitive price for new customer.
After negotiations get a production PO from customer and given to marketing department
Send a breakup details to planning department for better control of budget and time plan.
Monitor the target cost for each and every department and report submit to management.
Periodically update the prices based on RM and other cost variation, amend the PO price for
current situation.
New Product Development:
Check the feasibility based on our Tool , Machine availability. if any new tools required,
tool quote send to customer
Develop the customer drawing based on our manufacturing feasibility
Implementing Poke‐yoke, KAIZEN.
Conduct a development review meeting and get a commitment date from concern
department
Regularly monitor the special process activities.(Painting, Powder coating, riveting, clinching)
Create a BOM, Plan the RM & check bought out availability and intimate to the purchase and
planning team.
Sheet wastage analysis in CAD/CAM.
