(Introduction)
Background of the study:
As man lives and dominated the world for millions of years,
we have been relying our entire life on the resources that is
available on our place. It is a gift that is given to us by the
Almighty father so we must give our care to this gifts.
Agriculture is the cultivation of land and breeding animals
and plants to provide food, fiber, medicinal plants and other
products to sustain and enhance life. Crops and other plants has
been cultivated for thousands of years since the dawn of the early
civilization especially in Mesopotamia (Modern Iraq). Agriculture
plays a vital role in our life since it is the reason why humans
are settled in a permanent area until the present days, it provides
us food and other dairy products.
Philippines is located at the South-East region of Asia and
as an Asian country, we are relying on agriculture to sustain the
economy. We, Filipinos, are very lucky because our lands are rich
in water.
Since man learned how to cultivate plants they’ve made many
things out of it for their own benefits in everyday life. When
you’re eating rice are you curious on how it is prepared to
harvest? When you’re taking your medicinal plants have you ever
wonder how it is cultivated and what technique is used? Well,
plants needs photosynthesis for the production of food since they
are the main producers of food. Plants need the presence of
sunlight, carbon dioxide, and most of all the water.
As time passes, humans have been making so many inventions
using electrical components to make machines that is used in
factories. But what if we apply this technique in cultivating
plants. We present to you the innovated plant watering system.
Now, this technique is similar to NFT (Nutrient Film Technique)
system in which there is a circulation of water for the plants to
receive. The only difference is that the parts of NFT System costs
high and contains different nutrients on the water whereas we are
going to use the basic materials that can be found inside your
house.

Significance of the study:
Nowadays, if you are a tree hugger (nature lover) obviously
planting ornamental plants and other types of plants satisfies
you. Are you tired of maintaining water for your plants every day?
Having concern regarding on watering your plants while on vacation?
Of course you can have or do other techniques for watering your
plants. The product is perfect and designed to water plants for a
long period of time so you could use to it at your home.

Scopes and Limitations of the study:

The study is focused on promoting a better design for watering
plants that you can just let it without your presence. Any plants
that you want to plant and cultivate, well this product can help
you every day, it gives you daily assistance regarding on watering
your plants and keeping it from drying because of the presence of
too much sunlight at your place. The only concern here is the
container of the plants and the water reservoir must have their
right size and right amount of water needed. If you’re planning to
plant large plants such as lettuce, spinach, broccoli and other
herbs you might need a large container and large water reservoir
filled with water but if you want to plant small plants mint,
onion, garlic and tomatoes then you just need a small container
and small water reservoir filled with water. Just make sure that
the plants will fit on the container.

Statement of the Problem:

The study addressed the following questions regarding on the
innovated plant watering system;
1. Who will benefit this product?
2. Why do we need this product?
3. Can we make it at home?

General Objectives:

 To make an innovated plant watering system for

agriculture of cultivating plant purposes.
Specific Objectives:
1. To give an assistance and sureness for plant lover to
have their plants watered enough every day.
2. To provide better and easier way to water plants.
3. To make it, out of things that can be found at home.

Review on Related Literature
The review of the study focuses on making a new way to water
the plants for cultivating it. Many archeologists or researchers
believed that farming was invented around 12,000 years ago in an
area that was home to some of the earliest civilizations. Let’s
admit that most of the things around us are from agriculture
starting from preparing, cultivating and harvesting crops. We all
know that plants are very important, they are living organisms
that harness the energy from the sun to feed themselves and for
the production of food in the process of photosynthesis. Without
plants there will be no life on Earth because they are the main
producers and the source of food and without food humans and
animals will not have enough energy to do work and starving can
lead to death.
This technology only contains few parts and must be placed
correctly or else it will not function on the way it supposed to
be. The factors for food production of plant is needed which is
the sunlight, carbon dioxide and most especially, the water. The
product has its continuous flow of water that acts as a cycle from
the water reservoir to the water pump and to the plant container
to the hole to the filter and back to the reservoir where it
started, that’s how it works. This design is the best suited for
and most commonly used for growing smaller plants quick plants
like different types of lettuce. Some commercial products of
vegetable are cultivated using this type of method only that we
made a design suited at home or at your backyard if you love
planting. You should be asking “how often should I change the water
in the reservoir?” There really isn’t a specific amount of time
that should be used to determine how often you should change water
in the reservoir. The best way to ensure the good condition of the
plants is putting fresh water without adding any nutrient solution
and chemicals on it may become one hundred percent organic.
