Dear Dr. Cabahug:

Greetings!

An extension project involving Army Signal Regiment, 4th Signal Batallion beneficiaries had training days
conducted on a week days instead of Saturday as stipulated in the extension project proposal. The reasons
behind this implementation are:

a. There were schedules of extension programs that were also held during Saturdays; and
b. The availability of Laboratory room/computer lab used for the training.

Our apologies for not having the hindsight on this matter.

The involved faculty members/lecturers had reflected in their DTRs the correct time logs that will cover
the basic load, extension activity and overload if there are any. This was already verified by the Human
Resource Management Unit to be in order.

Also, the faculty members had delivered the projects that satisfied the requirement/need of the partner
organization and were expecting to receive the honoraria due to them. As their project leader, I am
appealing to your kind consideration regarding this matter. Rest assured that we will plan our future
extension projects and activities well so that situations such as this will not happen again.
