Researches and designs options for sports and physical activity


Chris participated to many events within the team of the ACLO:
- Fitness event
- Sport Dag
- Athene Spelen : 2 days event
It were side assignment where Chris needed to help in the assignments for a successful
day.

Organizes, positions and manages projects and programmes promoting sports and
physical activity

Chris has been proactive during the entire internship what made the communication and
work alliance really trustful and professional.
She was organized in her project has well as in her personal development because she
had a weekly planning with the questions: what/ why and how, to create objectives and
an overview on each project that she has been implemented.

The weekly meeting was very useful for me as well, to see her development and structure
of each week because during the week she has really achieved things but on Monday we
needed to discuss ideas or development for next week.

Her communication was clear and structured, during meeting or making appointments
with other stakeholders. Managing the different assignments needed some extra
attention what she totally has been doing.

Managing time issues sometimes put her in a stressful situation, but she had the abilities
to find other solutions by asking questions or help by staff members.
She has no problem by asking questions especially in the weekly meeting to be sure each
week there are some achievements and objectives.

Of course, she also had some harder times regarding the progress of the project due to
external or internal aspects, but always tried to manage.

For example: to design and create the online survey she had contacted someone form the
ICT to make sure any technological concerns will come up.

To finish, her final presentation was really well-thought-out, and she transmitted her
opinion and advice with full conviction.
Develops, assesses and advises on strategy and policy concerning sports and physical
activity.

Chris has been developing several projects, the organization and planning has made her
documents even more valuable and professional.

She created her online survey and have done many interviews at the different Universities
what shows her motivation and pro-activity, by taking into account the requirements from
the ACLO.

The two main documents have been properly presented and with all the valuable
information inside with a respectable structure. The development of those document has
been done with lots of interaction and meetings want to have shown professionalism and
input from her side.

The quality of the research has been done successfully because she brought in some new
elements inside the policy of the ACLO as well as an unknown issue. The actual problem
can be improved by some goal-oriented advice in the documents.

The document with the statistics will be beneficial for the next upcoming academy year,
the content is developed and explicit, what shows the amount of time she put into it.

Her advice has been based on evidence and also a very actual issue, what made it even
more interesting. Chris has been really implicated into her project and you can see her
willingness to learn on different aspects of the organization.

Her process has been successful, whereas sometimes she didn’t in calculated enough time
for management. However, she never gave up on issues because she is eagger to find
solutions or find another way to make it happen, what sometimes could lead to an
overflow of ideas or changes.

Sports Professional identity : professional attitude

Chris has been curious and expressive during her internship what has permitted to have
discussion on designing or creative ideas on her posters for example.

Her qualities are: eagger to learn, ask questions at the right moments, motivated,
organized, has a professional attitude and self- management. But she also sometimes is
undecided in terms of not always being 100% sure. (not lot of self-confidence on her
work)

Chris has taken responsibility along the internship because she expresses herself and
decides to do things and take responsibility in case of mistakes. She has the ability to
reflect on her own errors upon her own attitude.

She is focused on being organized before meetings, in documents and in finding


appropriate evidence for each issue.

She knows that the people working inside the company have the most knowledge and
information, so she always had a respectful attitude regarding them to create a new
functional collaboration for her product.
Collaborates in teams and networks

Chris works good inside a group.

Nevertheless, it was the first time at the beginning of the internship that she participated
into a professional meeting from a company. What put even more pressure, but she
managed to be pro-active, but she has particularly listening. After a couple of weeks, she
was really relaxed inside the meetings what had been noticed by the staff members
because she brought to more (positive) discussion, interaction, questions and input during
the meeting.

One of her strength is to be able to share her opinions and vision on topics, decision or
changes inside the company of for her product. Even if people had different opinion
regarding her poster for example, she had the potential to deal with it on a really positive
way by never forgetting the common goals of the organization.

She knows that the people working inside the company have the most knowledge and
information, so she always had a respectful attitude regarding them to create a new
functional collaboration for her product.

Communicates optimally:

She had a respectful and relaxed attitude during the internship by showing empathy in
communication.

Chris had the ability to be able to talk Dutch and English what made it even more easy
during meetings and interactions in a professional way.

She used the email and phone frequently to make appointments or the front desk to plan.
She sometimes has some troubles finding her words especially in Dutch but she has been
managing that part much better than at the beginning.

She was professional in her communication as well as inside meetings with external
business companies.

Functions effectively in an international and intercultural environment

Chris has the potential to work in an international environment because she talks 3
languages.

She was functioning inside an intercultural environment especially because her main tasks
was to revise the integration of the international students, and she formed interviews to
have some personal contact with her target group.

She has the potential to manage the different opinion that needed to be taken into
account such as the diversity in terms of vision, background or opinions of each person.

Self-management and independence:


Those are the qualities of Chris I have mentioned above.
A general impression of the students performance

Chris knows what she wants and can work well independently. She first collects
information from us, then she turns everything off with beautiful and professional
documents as a result and with a follow-up as a result.
