INTRODUCTION

Now a days, most of the teenagers are into foods that is new to

their taste, we as an entrepreneur thought of a product that would not

only taste delicious but also look good to their sights. Obviously,

teenagers, or so call millennials, are fond of eating sweets. They are

into trends and therefore spent their time on social media. People claimed

that using social media, we are nearly informed about new and popular

things that might suit our qualifications, satisfactions and more

specifically our taste. In addition to that, we acquire information about

foods that people are selling using internet.

Starting a business is really an exciting ang interesting adventure.

For students like us, we figured that the sweet products like Oreo Truffles

is a good start for a business. There are many factors we need to mull

over considering starting a business is not that easy. One of these factors

is the financial expectations. Financial expectations are probably the

single most intimidating and difficult portion of a marketing plan. We want

our product to be competitive enough to the existing products related with

it. And in order to achieve that we would create a strategy that will help

us show the uniqueness of our product.

Since we are new in the business, our first goal is to recover our

expenses. After we achieved the first goal, the nest one is to make it

known or popular. Once our product is known in the market that will be
the time well earn money because many students will purchase our

product. Our second goal is to maintain our business not only in the

university but also in the market.

Oreo truffles is an edible product that satisfies the person’s sweet

tooth cravings. We aim to gratify the wants of our target market who are

seeking simple pleasures. We aspire it to provide and spread happiness

through our homemade Oreo Truffles. Truffles compensate itself with a

unique taste and bright dessert. It is shelled with chocolate and the inside

is moist and flavorful.

Our potential target market would be the students. As school work

sometimes stresses them out, we wanted to provide them with something

that can take away the thought of stress and offer them simple pleasures.

Filipinos are known to have sweet tooth, meaning that they like

sweets like chocolates and candies. But today’s time where trending

goods and sweets products are prevailing, ordinary people could not

afford to buy these since some of it are costly. That’s why Oreo Truffles

owners came up with an idea of sweet delicacies that is not just affordable

but will surely suit the Filipino’s taste for sweet foods.

PROJECT SUMMARY

1.1 Name of the business

The name of the proposed business is “Oreo Truffles” the proponents

chose this name because they wanted to catch the attention of the people

who care’s a lot about sweets which they are going to offer their product.

1.2 Goal of the business

It is the main goal of the business to maximize profit by offering high

quality and consumer taste satisfaction in the school and expand its

resources in the span seven years by increasing its values an economic

entity and to be part of economic development the Philippines by making

contribution of the society.

1.3 Location of the business

Oreo Truffles is located at Bauan Technical High School (BTHS). One

of the reasons for choosing this location is because the site is being

centered by a lot of establishments especially the students who are

particularly the customers and end consumers.

The proponents decided to choose this location because it is very

accessible and students are studying at this school, thereby, the

consumers will easily buy the product if they crave on sweets.


1.4 Brief Description of the Business

Oreo Truffles offers health-conscious consumers and dessert

lovers a healthy and friendly local product. It will provide a combination

of excellent dessert with affordable price.

The reason why the proponents chose their business is because a

lot of students usually crave on something tasty. Oreo Truffles is the

answer to the increasing demand for craving a dessert after a meal with

a lower price.

The proponents decide to choose this business because they wanted

to practice and make use of their practical knowledge and apply what

they learned from school.

1.4 Objectives of the Study

The business Oreo Truffles need to be successful business in line with

food products in the market it serves by cultivating the following

objectives.

First, to satisfy the wants of students that the proponents considered

as the customers. Students might also recommend our product to other

customers if ever our product suits their taste. Second, to provide

excellent food services to students. It is to prove to the students that the

proponents are politely selling our product to them.


Moreover, to create interests of local community to be involved in

studying food intake patterns and lifestyle practices in school. The

proponent’s pleasure, if ever the students suggest their product to the

cafeteria of the school. Also, to develop creative skills of entrepreneurs,

and future entrepreneurs. Though the proponent would likely help the

future entrepreneurs with this business plan to be used as their guide.

And, finally, to promote the product and recommend to be sold on other

school. For the product to be more popular and get attention of other

students.

1.6 Scope and Limitation

The scope of this study is within the school of Bauan Technical

High School (BTHS) prospective customers are within the presence of

the students. The business is limited in offering Oreo Truffles for the

proponents first product.

MARKETING ASPECT

2.1 Objectives of the Study

The business Oreo Truffles need to be successful business in line

with food products in the market it serves by cultivating the following

objectives.

First, to know the trend of supply and demand of a SECIM Co.

Second, to find out marketing strategies to be used to ensure favorable

share in the market. And lastly, to determine the pricing that should be

adopted.

2.2 Marketing Description

The business Oreo Truffles is a business where sweet products

are being offered especially their first product the Oreo Truffles to

students and residents nearby the business location in BTHS and as

stated in its objective will be its target market in the span of seven years.

The proposed business Oreo Truffles assures excellent food

services in the field of food products. Through researches about existing

food stalls from the proponents gathered information or how to start and

operate business. Facilities and materials to be distributed to the future

clients will conform to the laws standards and principles to supply

balanced fair and high-quality products.


2.3 Mission

To help people enjoy life by offering food that can forget unhappy

thoughts. To provide quality products that consistently exceed customers

expectation. We sell a quality dessert experience for all of our customers.

We want to present a product that is safe and trustworthy to our

customers. To sell food in a fast, friendly environment that appeals to

pride conscious health minded customers.

To make our business well known not only in our school but in

wider market as well. To serve the best ingredients for the customers and

to be known with this product with our hard work and dedication to our

business also to become the customer’s first choice.

Oreo Truffles is committed to conducting business in compliance

with all market conduct requirements. To show passion that shows pride

and dedication in everything. Dedicated to selling and delivering a

quality product.

2.6 Methodology

The proponents decided to propose Oreo Truffles to satisfy the

fellow students’ sweet tooth cravings. The proponents decided to used

interviews. They tend to choose this method because taking interviews is


essential. It gets answer directly from the respondents. The respondent

will be asks some questions about their awareness level, their profile,

preferences and behaviors. This question can answer due to their free

will. It is more efficient because the results can be derived in real time

based on the availability of the respondents. The set of questions to be

used in the interview will be the guide to know the information about the

target market’s needs and wants.

The proponents come up with the idea that business world is a

very competitive circulation and for an enterprise to be able to become

stable in this world they should overcome challenges or immovable to

sustain their status. The proponents plan to give a high-quality product

especially the Oreo Truffles to the students for their cravings.


2.14 Marketing Strategies

The promotion of the proposed business includes brochures,

journal’s advertisement, that will be distributed to the target market. There

will also be posters displayed in school to make the business more

appealing. The proponents will conduct invitations and campaign to the

customers of the business together with some presentation about the

business that can show case product being offered by the business.

Future customers will have an idea of what Oreo Truffles taste have. The

proponents believe that having good communication with the students

should be established.
