GS.MUM.MGR.AQM.01 Essar Constructions Ltd Quality System Manual for Global Sourcing Division
1. PURPOSE
Purpose is to establish the procedure for trainings & developments of personnel from
I Global Sourcing to irr~provethe quality of the individual in his present and future jobs
4. RESPONSIBILITIES
HR - Preparation of the training calendars, arranging the trainings & analyzing the
training feedbacks & effectiveness.
Functional Heads - Assist HR for training need identification & analysing the training
effectiveness.

5. DETAILS OF PROCEDURE
2. I n case of new recruitments, the interview evaluation provides the information related to
training requirements if any. Also the functional HODs provide any special training
requirements t o HR in the prescribed format.
3. Once the training needs are identified a Training calendar given under format No.
@@%76@@@mT!$@2f is devised against which programmes are organised with the help
. of the internal / external faculty at the Units. Guidelines from HODs, training schedules
from Essar Learning Center are considered during training calendar preparation.
4. Training can be provided on the job or arranged. I n case of any specific specialist
programme is required for giving necessary inputs to the concerned individuals, the
concerned employees are sent to various Professional Training Institutes/programs.
5. 'The participants attending various programmes are required to submit copy of
certificates issued by the institute/faculty and submit a feedback report of having
attended the programme. The attendance sheet &@@@$%$!#,~?%8@@3 & training feedback

are maintained by the HR team.
6. Post training evaluation is carried out on the participants having attended the said
programme and are assessed on their performance after a given time frame. Efforts are
made t o ensure that the participant has attained the desired level of training and if not
they are provided retraining on need based.
7. The effectiveness of the training provided is evaluated by the HOD, after a period of
three months of having undergone of said Training programme by the employee, which is
