15 Proposal
Purpose
The purpose of piece is to educate people on
the struggle of living with depression; what it
really looks like, how it affects people, and how
it affects lives.

I think it is also important when trying to
portray a certain message, to engage and
entertain the audience through the quality of
the visuals and storyline within the trailer.
Plot
•  Emma is a your average teenage girl, at least
she used to be before depression crept in.
•  Every day Emma’s depression affects her
more and more, from struggling to get up in
the morning, to violent mood swings and
aggression.
•  Emma disappears, but what has happened?
Will she be found? Does anyone even care?
Main Characters
•  Emma- Emma is a 17 year old student, suffering
with severe depression. ALer an outburst of
uncontrollable rage and anger, she disappears
into thin air.
•  Miss. Brown- Miss. Brown is Emma’s teacher at
college, aLer understanding Emma’s difficult
family situaOon she steps in and they develop a
close relaOonship. She picks up on Emma’s recent
mood swings, but when going to console her, she
is nowhere to be found…
