I appreciate the opportunity you have given us to propose a project that would benefit our cookery class.
As one of WCC student for almost a year now, I would like to propose a project to include entrepreneurial
skills development in Cookery Students. The project aims to hone our business and money management
skills as well as our interpersonal skills. These are vital aspects in our journey of becoming successful
entrepreneurs someday.
We spend about P150.00-200.00 budget on average every cooking activity that we usually ask from our
parents. We buy our ingredients individually or sometimes shared with group to minimize costs. Finished
products/cooked food will then be offered to teachers or employees for FREE tasting. I am grateful for
their participation but to add more value in what we do, I propose that instead of offering our finished
products for free, cookery students will sell it with a minimal profit in order to reproduce the needed
budget for the next cooking activity. This will further develop our communication skills and encourage
interaction among the students. Furthermore, we will learn how to do budgeting and marketing.
Please see summary of activities below:
-Produce Cookery "Selling Baskets" to be used in weekly Food Sale.
-Provide Sales guideline for uniformed selling practice and pricing.
-Form Marketing Teams with Teacher/Adviser Supervision.
This project is intended for World Citi Colleges Antipolo City, Cookery Class of 2019.
I look forward to discussing my project proposal with you in more detail at your preferred date and time.
Respectfully yours,
