A. Complete your practical files as per the CBSE rules. The list of final practical is given below:

(1) To measure diameter of a small spherical/cylindrical body and to measure and depth of a given
beaker/calorimeter using Vernier Calipers and hence find its volume.
(2) To measure diameter of a given wire and thickness of a given sheet using screw gauge.
(3) To determine radius of curvature of a given spherical surface by a spherometer.
(4) To determine the mass of two different objects using a beam balance.
(5) To find the weight of a given body using parallelogram law of vectors.
(6) Using a simple pendulum, plot its L-T2 graph and use it to find the effective length of second's pendulum.
(7) To find the co- efficient of friction between a block and a horizontal surface.
(8) To determine Young's modulus of elasticity of the material of a given wire.
(9) To find the force constant of a helical spring by plotting a graph between load and extension.
(10) To determine specific heat capacity of a given solid by method of mixtures.
B. Make a Project report of about 6 to 8 pages on one of the following topics ( Projects should be
handwritten):

BIOLOGY
1. Make a Project Record File on the topic allotted to you in the class.

A. List of Experiments

1. Study and description of one locally available common flowering plants, from the Family lSolanaceaeincluding
dissection and display of floralwhorls, anther and ovary to show number of chambers (floral formulae and floral
diagrams).
Types of root (Tap and adventitious); leaf (simple)
2. Preparation and study of T.S. of dicot and monocot roots and stems (primary).
3. Study of osmosis by potato osmometer.
4. Study of plasmolysis in epidermal peels (e.g. Rhoeo leaves).
5. Study of distribution of stomata in the upper and lower surface of leaves.
6. Test for the presence of sugar, starch, proteins and fats. Detection in suitable plant and animalmaterials.

1. Prepare a chart of 11 team fixture on knock out basis and 11 team fixture on stairs case method.
2. Make a chart of any four yoga asanas with brief explanation.
3. Make a chart on balance diet which includes all the components of nutrition.
4. Learn all the back question of chapter 1-3.
