External View
This cable is a yellow/green cable with a cross-sectional area of 16 mm2, see Figure 3-1.
Two TNR22-8 terminals are crimped on both ends of the cable and fixed with screws.
Signal Description
Connection
End A is connected to the protective grounding terminal of the ZXSDR R8862A, and end
B to the grounding bar directly.
3-1
External View
This external view of DC power input cable, see Figure 3-2.
Signal Description
Connection
One end is connected to the 2-wire DC socket of the ZXSDR R8862A while the other end
is connected to the external power supply equipment.
External
This external view of AC power input cable, see Figure 3-3.
Note:
The AC power input cable contains three wires, including one yellow/green grounding wire
connected to the grounding terminal in the O&M cavity.
3-2
Signal Description
Connection
One end is connected to the AC power terminal and the grounding terminal in the ZXSDR
R8862A while the other end is connected to the AC power distribution unit or the lightning
protection box for the AC power supply.
External View
The antenna feeder cable is an RF cable with a diameter of 1/2" and resistance of 50 Ω.
Two DIN connectors are installed on both ends of the cable, see Figure 3-4.
Connection
End A is connected to the ANT interface of the ZXSDR R8862A while end B is connected
to the main feeder.
3-3
External View
There are two optical interfaces in the ZXSDR R8862A: OPT1 and OPT2, supporting LC
type optical interfaces. This external view of the optical fiber is used as a connecting cable
between the RRU and a BBU, see Figure 3-5.
Connection
When the optical fiber is used as a connecting cable between the RRU and a BBU, one
end of the fiber is connected to the OPT1 interface of the ZXSDR R8862A while the other
end is connected to the optical connector of the BBU.
When the optical fiber is used for RRU cascading, one end of the fiber is connected to the
OPT2 interface of the upper-layer ZXSDR R8862A while the other end is connected to the
OPT1 interface of the lower-layer RRU.
External View
Figure 3-6 shows an external view of the AISG/MON interface cable.
Connection
One end is connected to the AISG/MON interface of the ZXSDR R8862A while the other
end is connected to the AISG interface/MON output interface of the antenna.
