D50KS
blasthole drill
The Sandvik D50KS is a diesel powered, self-propelled
crawler mounted blasthole drill for mining. It is a
powerful mid-range production drill and comes with a
low pressure air compressor for rotary drilling. Its
normal range is 152 to 229 mm (6" to 9") diameter
holes, but it can optionally drill up to 251 mm (9 7/8")
hole size. Maximum hole depth is 45 m (148') with 7"
drill pipe. First pass capability is 8,7 m (28' 6"). The
maximum pulldown is 222 kN (50 000 lb) and bit
load 267 kN (60 000 lb). Thanks to its heavy duty
hydraulic system, the D50KS delivers the rotary
horse power for maximum productivity throughout
its hole size range.
