PRINCE2® Key Information

Pre-Course Material:

All delegates will be required to do a minimum of 15 hours recommended pre-course work.

This consists of three parts:

1) PDF: Pre-course Instructions
2) PDF: 56 Page Pre-Course Workbook to be completed and submitted to trainer on arrival
3) 60 Multiple choice questions to test your Knowledge of PRINCE2 via a PowerPoint

In addition, delegates will be required to complete a MINIMUM of 2 hours homework each

evening.

Course Information, Materials & Trainers:

The Knowledge Academy’s PRINCE2® course materials are accredited by PeopleCert,
ensuring that delegates receive a consistently high standard of training. The Knowledge
Academy course materials are regularly assessed and maintained in line with stringent
standards administered by AXELOS. The Knowledge Academy's trainers are regularly
assessed by The Knowledge Academy and PeopleCert, to ensure we provide delegates with
the correct amount of knowledge to obtain their PRINCE2® certification. The PRINCE2®
course materials are based on the 2017 edition of “Managing Successful Projects using
PRINCE2®” and include accredited examinations based on this manual.

The Knowledge Academy's PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner event is designed to

maximise a delegate's potential in the PRINCE2 environment. It is an intensive course that
includes the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner official examinations. The Knowledge
Academy's PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course follows a two-part structure. The
first part of the course involve familiarisation with the content of the PRINCE2 manual,
preparing for the Foundation examination. Following successful completion of the
Foundation examination, delegates will spend one day preparing for the PRINCE2
Practitioner examination, sitting this examination online at a time of their choosing.

Exam Guidance:

We have prepared a case study booklet for you to complete to help you apply your
acquired knowledge. This will take you 8-10 hours to complete, and will enhance your
chances of passing the examination. Please ensure you complete this in full. The link to
the workbook is included in your original order confirmation marked “5th Day
Workbook”. Upon completion, when you feel ready to take the examination, please
follow the instructions below to book your exam.
The Practitioner exam is to be completed online at a mutually convenient date (please
see the below details for further information).

Online Practitioner Exam:

The week prior to the course you will receive an email from our exam bookings team
inviting you to request your online exam voucher. Please follow the guidance within this
email to request your voucher. If you have any issues please contact
exambookings@theknowledgeacademy.com who will be able to assist you during the
booking process.

The benefits of Online exams are:

 Rather than having to be out of the office for a paper exam, once you have
received your exam voucher you can arrange directly with the accrediting body
for a time that suits you

 It allows you to complete all revision activities at your own pace to help you
prepare for your exam to maximise your passing potential

 It allows you to revise further before taking the exam

 Exam results are issued much quicker than the paper based format
