Logistics Officer

To reinforce our Supply Chain Team HPP (Performance Products), we are looking for a
Logistics Officer (Amines). The position is a full-time contract at our European HQ in
Everberg – Belgium.

Reporting to the Supply Chain manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of
deliveries out of European Amines stock points or plants. You will act as a supply chain
expert in ADR and export regulations and be a focal point internally for all matters related
to Amines logistics. You will continue look for improvements thought measurement and
analysis to reach our supply chain and business objectives

Additionally, as Logistics Officer, you:

• Ensure that the HPP Customer Service office operates in line with Huntsman
corporate EHS and ethical standards in all areas of the work.
• Maintain proper inventory to fulfil demand requirements.
• Create replenishment loads that are optimized to minimize logistical costs.
• Ensure that the inventory level reflects the right balance
• Maintain master data to ensure the integrity of SAP parameters for manufactured
and purchased goods.
• Participate in weekly collaboration conference calls
• Plan and coordinate the distribution of packed and bulk materials sales orders and
intercompany stock transfers within Europe and to the rest of the world in order to
achieve customer satisfaction.
• Act as operational focal point for the Amines warehouses and hauliers and internal
European Customer Service Representatives,
• Act as an operational focal point for the third party manufacturers for the assigned
product group.
• Ensure KPI data such as customer complaints, non-conformances, OTIF are
updated in the appropriate system in order to support continuous improvement of
service level performance.
• Provide input and advice on logistics and related processes in projects and
meetings as required.
• Update and simplify operational procedures and processes
• Provide assistance where required to other members of the Supply Chain team.

Requirements:
• You have a degree in Business Administration / Logistics Management / Marketing/
Sales or equivalent job experience
• Demonstrate success in the above key accountabilities and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
with colleagues
• Result driven and customer focused
• Analytical skills/problem solving – Details oriented
• Team Player and positive attitude
• Fluency English is a must. Any other EAME language is an advantage (especially
Dutch or French)
