Mr. Syed Khurshid Ahmed has more than 06 years of progressive field based program experience in working with
communities, in humanitarian assistance and social development sector in thematic areas of livelihoods,

He had started career as Child Protection Promoter with Society for Empowering Human Resource (BRSP) for
Child Protection, Corporal Punishment & Human Development to establish community based schools facilitating
adult literacy vision and promoted on various positions in same organization.

He has experience of management skills working as Research & Communication Officer in (BRSP) Society for
Empowering Human Resource, Team Leader in (WESS) Water Environment Sanitation Society, And Third Party

TITLE: DSO (Data Support Officer) District Quetta
ORGANIZATION: CTC (CHIP TRANING & CONSULTING) DISTRICT Quetta
DURATION: March, 20to Till date…..
Responsibilities:

 Collate daily staff attendance SMS and generate monthly attendance report for the assigned
district.
 Follow-up with UC staff for submission of data for reports.
 Monitor and follow-up with UC staff on regular data upload on polio info database.
 Have access to PCR and polio info datasets for COMNet and CCPV planning.
 Maintain datasets of CCPV and COMNet UCs in the assigned district /agencies.
 UC level data collection and compilation on key indicators to generate pre, intra and post
campaign report.
 Collate and analyse campaign data, monitor feedback from UCOs and generate daily CCPV,
COMNet monitoring updates during campaigns
 Guide and on job train CCPV and COMNet staff on reporting tools.
 Ensure timely submission of periodic reports including 30 HH cluster survey / detail
epidemiological investigation form for urgent AFP and polio cases.
 Analyse data of dashboard indicators with UC wise feedback to the UCO and SMs
 Maintain close liaison with DPCR data operator for two way data flow.
 Generate and share extended catchup coverage report from DSC dataset with the concerned
DPCR. Collate and relay CCPV dataset as per DSC SOP
 To work as focal person for DSC correspondence and follow-up with field staff.
 Collection of data for campaign planning from UC level for onward submission.
 Maintain the data of social characteristics of polio cases of the respective district.
 Spot check missed children logbook and child registration logbook of the assigned district

ORGANIZATION: DATA SUPPORT CENTER (MICRO MERGER PVT LIMTED

Responsibilities:

 TO MAINTAIN PROPER VALIDATE DATA AND ENTRY RECORDS AND SUBMIT WEEKLY REPORT TO
HIGHER AUTHORITIES.
 VALIDATE AND UPLOAD COLLECTED HOUSEHOLD DATA ON DAILY BASIS.

Responsibilities:

 Support in covering children on move especially the refusing families.


 Corner meetings / IPC one to one sessions at waiting areas of major bus stops / railway
stations / hospital OPDs, etc.
 Distribution of IEC / promotional material for PEI / EPI / health and hygiene (FAQs, leaflets
etc.) as & when required.
 Provide information to caregivers of >1 year children on routine vaccination schedule and
mobilize for polio vaccination (only inside city transit points).
 Enhance visibility of PTPs through display of banners, billboards, streamers etc.
 Capacity build vaccination teams in IPC and vaccine management SOPs.
 Monitor the vaccine management SOPs implementation by vaccination teams, report on
gaps / challenges.
 Identify, counsel and engage key local influences (station master / bus owners / motorway
police / rangers / hospital managers / park supervisors / owners of resting areas on highways
etc.)
 Conduct megaphone announcements where required at the transit points.
 As per tools, data gathering, compilation and timely submission on to supervisor.
 Ensure recording of at least 50% of children vaccinated up to day 10 of campaign (initially
and try to enhance this # by 10% in each quarter) at PTPs working at within city points to cross
check from missed children list.
 Weekly submission of data through hard and soft copies to communication data support
person.
