 All questions are compulsory.


 This question paper consist of 29 questions divided into four sections A,
B, C and D.
 Questions 1-4 in section A are of 1 mark and are very short answer type
questions.
 Questions 5-12 in section B are short answer type carrying 2 marks each.
 Question 13-23 in section C are long answer type-I caryying 4 marks
each.
 Question 24-29 in section D are long answer type-II carrying 6 marks
each.
SECTION –A

B and C,4% buy A and C.If 2% families buy all newspapers then find the number of
families which buy newspapers

29. Mean and standard deviation of 100 observations are found to be 40 and 10
respectively. If two observations were wrongly taken as 30 and 70 in place of 3 and
27 respectively, find correct standard deviation.

The mean and variance of seven observations are 8 and 16 respectively. If five of the
observations are 2, 4, 10, 12 and 14. Find the missing two observations.
