A teacher works in a school. She works in a classroom with students. She helps them.
Miss Miller works at Marmara University from 9:00 to 12:00. In the morning, Miss Miller
comes to school at 8:30. She starts her lessons at 9:00. She stands in front of the board. The
students sit at their desks and they listen to the teacher. She writes on the board and they write in
their notebooks. She asks questions and they answer her. At ten o’clock, the students read their
books and they ask the teacher questions. She teaches them new words and they learn them. She
gives them homework every day. Sometimes the teacher gives the students a test. Lessons finish
at noon. Miss Miller goes home and she has lunch at 1:30. In the afternoon, she reads the
students’ homework and she prepares her new lessons.
A teacher’s job is not easy, but she likes her students and she likes her job.
